Don't lie. Nobody ever called himself a "wahhabi". The name was invented by SHi'ites. Becasue they couldn't call the movement of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab "Muhammadi's". Since most people don't know that Al Wahhab is the name of allah, so they labeled them as "wahhabis".

And the Methodology of Salaf us Saalih is documented in our history. Prominent scholars have always used this description to refer to the methodology of classical scholars.

But recently the word Salafi has been popularized because we like to distinguish ourselves from graveworshipers, sufis, moderates, philosophers and similar deviants.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

If you mean Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab, yes, he was a Salafi. And Salafi means, someone who follows the way of the the salaf-us-Saalih (the pious predecessors). The first 3 generation of Muslims and those who follow their way.

But Shi'ites, infidels, apostates, moderate muslims and people who have colaborated with the invaders call people Wahabi.

Because Imam Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab was very harsh on polytheists.
if Mohammad Ibn Wahab was a salafi why do these people call themselves wahabi?people such as the saudis?

the saudis do not call themselves wahabis.

When Muhammad ibn ABdul wahhab joined forces with the Saudi tribe, they conquered the whole region and got rid of all the graveworshiping.

But then, the Othomans have regained control and by that time Muhammad ibn Abdul wahhab was dead. Soon the Saudis were aproached by the British. And then they created the Saudi empire.

When Saudis got the power, the killed all of Muhammd Ibn Abdul Wahhabs group.

But his ideology remained and spread through the world through his students.

Even in Kunar and other parts of Asia, as early as 150 years ago, there were communities who were on the same methodology.

except the fact that the euros supported the salafis against their ottoman enemies, and that this ideology is seen as a joke in afghanistan and has almost no support whatsoever. unless u want to count sayyaf as a supporter lol

actually i had an argument with someone in kunar and he was talking about being wahabi and not salafi even though there is a group who are called salafi (part of hezbi islami) in kunar.

btw saudis do call themselves wahabi and wahabi word is widely used across the globe by people who say they are wahabi.
the word salafi hasnt been used as much as wahabi.

You mean like helping the British and fighting against the Islamic Khilafah just as Wahhabis had done?

The irony that Wahhabis accuse others of polytheism but describe ALlah with tajjassum (corporeality) and claim attributes of limited beings such as makan and that Allah(swt) is 'Literally above the seven heavens literally sitting on a throne".

how is this any different than Greek ideas of Zeus???

how is that possible that you are the khalifa or amir who should have th ehighest morals yet has around 50 women to satisfy your needs?

to be honest, the turks were the cause of decline of Islam it was better under the Arab rule.

Wait back to this Jew provocateur

This dude (Revolution Muslim) preaches anti-west ins the middle of Manhattan, and claims it's his first amendment right. But, anyone does it like them, theyll get arrested. And some how a handful of his supporters have been arrested on terrorism charges, while he still is scotch free.

^^ exactly why I have a problem with those Khariji types; it seems like they're set out to do entrapment schemes.

Towards the end you're right, but instead of disbanding the Khilafah or trying to and thereby allowing the British leeway into the Middle East, shouldn't there have been a re stratification of the Khilafah?

You're right the Ottomans had some excesses; but let's not forget those "50" women were concubines to the Khalif. coming from Christian areas of Europe, something which even Abdul Wahhab's followers seem to think is a noble practice.

That's what I am concerned about. He MUST be a Mossad-sent actor / comedian pretending to be a radical Muslim type.

I'm very suspicious, too, how he has been SCOT-free -

after all, we have no way to know whether he is even remotely SCOTCH=FREE.
He probably is a secret drinker.

                              He looks ill and unscrupulous.

Sk, was he saying he was a Salafi and now decided to become - what kind of Sufi -
                              the modern American brand ?!

If so, that would fit the specifications for a ---

in sri lanka, i met an israeli monk following tibetan buddhism. in the rad robes and all. he was very defensive about israels treatment of palestinians. a lot of israelis go to india after military, chill, smoke dope and some are getting into tibetan buddhism. israel probably has this 'monk' in there to keep an eye on what is happening.
