                  Re: AlMaghrib!

I wanted to remind everyone about this coming class. PLEASE don't forget to come - don't worry about registration or anything, just show up

The class itself: Torch Bearers, a class that begins this Friday, March 12th at NJIT in New Jersey, explores the past of the many honorable Scholars of Islam that helped establish Islam in our times. We begin to learn and delve into the lives of the Scholars all the way from the Tabi'een, Mutarrif Ibn Abdullah, to the more recent revivers of the Ummah such as Ibn Tayymiyah, May Allah's peace and mercy be upon them. The class is taught by none other than Sheikh Waleed Basyouni, another Madinah University graduate.

Join us in educating ourselves about the important people of our, yes, we the Muslims, past. Let us learn about their lives so that we can benefit from their examples as people who helped preserve the religion of Islam.

I have a task for everyone - while you are there, please take a quick picture of the Sheikh or classroom with your cell so that you can prove to me that you have been to the class :P Remember, I promise you, you will NOT be dissappointed inshallah and you will come out e-mazed!

Any, ANY, problems? - don't hesitate to talk to me

                        Pray that he does :p.

Zakir Naik is doing a grande job with all the things he does. He's a really busy person - I doubt we could bring him over for almaghrib classes which require alot of time and effort. Naik runs a school and does his own programs...

The point is not bringing every Tom, ****, and Harry to the class - but the serious and dedicated muslims who can learn the knowledge, preserve it, and convey it to others. This is not a convention - its a class.
