Dukes i met someone last night whose husband is an active member of Al-Maghrib. I was talking to her about it because she lives in Michigan. And her other sisters husband had gone to a few events. I was so excited and so eager to tell you! :D

awwww wow Michigan :| But thats really far away from you guys lol you met her online?

Yo, Manana, Sincere, for your comments on AlMaghrib and I am very happy that you went. The happiness - it's unexplainable so I think I'm going to stop trying to describe it. :P

I strongly believe that we should be educating our Pukhtaney brothers and sisters about religion and not with all the misunderstandings and misconceptions we have today. I have talked to many of our brethren and they prefer to "stay away from religion" because they believe that the outcome will be some radical group of youth set upon ridding the world of filth. *sad* I know. AlMaghrib, however, does not promote any group and has avoided joining partners with any "side" so to speak. Rather than educate the masses on "ideas" AlMaghrib focuses on Islamic teachings so I would like to request all of you - whether you have attended a class or not - to promote AlMaghrib and encourage our beloved pukhtaney to go. I seldom see pukhtaney at these classes...

        Viva la AlMaghrib!

You folk make me proud :D

The girl's (whom i met last night) brother is marrying my family friend. The engagement party was last night and her whole family was there. She introduced herself to me (They are Indian) and we talked and talked. She like loved Cali :P Anyways i asked her if she knew about Al Maghrib and she was very happy i knew about it. She told me her husband always goes to the one in Michigan and nearby states. She knew so many of her friends that also attend. She definitely encouraged me to go the next Cali meeting.

I wanted to tell you last night, but i got home like @ 1 am and i knew it would have been like 4 am for you.

This is a pretty innovative idea, I find it pretty intellectual. Let's see what happens.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
