    osho;

    Great post, very balanced. I disagree with some points though when it comes to race and Punjaabi culture, other than that it was very well put. Majority of the Punjaabis are the victims of the state of Pakistan since majority of them are peasants. Many Punjaabis are advocating for the institutionalization of their language in Pakistan. Punjaabi is dying in Pakistan, and the only source for modern day Punjaabi heritage comes from the Sikhs of India who are actively working to promote and preserve it.

    Blaming all Punjaabis is like Taajiks blaming all Pukhtoons for consecutive failures of Pukhtoon rulers of Afghanistan. The Taajiks are the Pukhtoons of Afghanistan, and the Pukhtoons of Afghanistan are the Punjaabis.

    Of course, of course, with exceptions i.e how the states were founded, what does Afghan-e-stan mean etc. etc.

      Your nick should be Wrund instead of Wrayun. Dont you realise that anybody who talks about imperialism and hegemony only means the power elite of that nation and even a 10th grader knows this basics of the basic fact about politics.

      It has been said times and again, with consistent repitition, in almost all combinations and permutations of an english sentence construction, that :

      It is the Power Elite which consists of Punjabi domianted army and other forces, the Punjabi civil bureocracy along with their boot licker colleagues from other nations, the Landlord and "Biradari" controlled vote bank of Punjab, the biased media and even the so called parliament domianted by Punjabi who are the enemies of all other nations living in Pakistan. Ofcourse we do not mean that a peasant from Pind dadan khan or a seraiki mulla from bhakar will exploit Paktuns just because he is living in Punjab.

      It is professionally dishonest to extract a meaning out of context , which distorts genuine concerns raised with sincerity, that get transformed into propaganda, and then helps maintain status quo , which becomes a cause for rise in the poverty line of any nation like Pakistan. You along with your other comrades are doing this dirty job.

        You are trying too hard. You could have simply said that's not what you meant, but then again no one accused you specifically of anything either. If I were you, I'll control the outbursts stemmed out of personal insecurities and paranoia.

          Wrayun and Osho wrora

          The causes which you have mentioned are basically the reasons for the backwardness of Pakhtuns in Afghanistan not for the slavery of Pakhtuns in Pakhtunkhwa. In Pakhtunkhwa there is no tribalism as such except in FATA to an extent. The arguments which osho have mentioned is an attempt probably out of sincerity to make Pakhtuns feel good in their current status which at the most is a catharsis for their long term miseries but defintely not a solution to their major problem .

          On another level you both of you are basically justifying the slavery of Pakhtuns by trying to convince them intellectually. I am sure both of you would be successful people on individual level but you are trying to generalise the same for the whole Pakhtun nation unconsciously forgetting the fact that it is not any genetic handicap if Pakhtuns are not able to compete in the cut throat national and international markets but their political alienation and economic deprivation by the state due to which they are not able to exploit their faculties to come at par with the rest of the nations.
