osho;
Great post, very balanced. I disagree with some points though when it comes to race and Punjaabi culture, other than that it was very well put. Majority of the Punjaabis are the victims of the state of Pakistan since majority of them are peasants. Many Punjaabis are advocating for the institutionalization of their language in Pakistan. Punjaabi is dying in Pakistan, and the only source for modern day Punjaabi heritage comes from the Sikhs of India who are actively working to promote and preserve it.
Blaming all Punjaabis is like Taajiks blaming all Pukhtoons for consecutive failures of Pukhtoon rulers of Afghanistan. The Taajiks are the Pukhtoons of Afghanistan, and the Pukhtoons of Afghanistan are the Punjaabis.
Of course, of course, with exceptions i.e how the states were founded, what does Afghan-e-stan mean etc. etc.
