Group 2 is a little misleading in a way or too huge of a list...in the sense that you have different personalities with different political beliefs..unless your criteria is European or European descent.

How is it misleading, don't they support secularism in one way or the other and are considered free thinkers? If you can give me an alternative list that would be great.

That is like putting muslim scholars, jewish scholars and christian scholars in one group..I mean don't they all believe in one God (in some form or another)? You see what I am getting at.

Well in comparison, who amongst Group 2 has more in common with Group 1 than the group they are already listed under? I guess you think that Marx and Lenin don't belong with the rest in Group 2. Though the way I see it they have more in common with Group 2 than Group 1. That's why they are there.

Waryun brother, I also have a objection for grouping. See you put all pashtun nationalists in the first group, then you put western scholars or leaders in the second, so the votes will go for sure to the pashtun nationalists. See, if anyone among pashtuns does not like bacha Khan or faqir of ipi, but it is 100% sure that they will like them more than Lanin or Karl marx.
In my opinion, if you exclude the wetsren group, and divide the groups amongst pashtuns, on religious and nationalistic point of view, for example, Pir Rokhan against Pir baba, Ghanzi Amanullah againt Shami Peer, Faqir of ipi against Gulab Khan Mehsood,Dr Najeebullah against Hikmatyar, Bacha Khan against Qayum khan, Karzai against Mulla Omer, Asfandyar against Fazlurehman, Mehmood Khan against Qazi Hussain ahmad, and so on, then members have to choose one amongst them, then we will have an overview.

I am not an internet expert, but want to know, how can we assure that one member can vote only once, to have a real results and then one can build the point of view.

That's a whole other poll. Many of the people you have listed we can't really make a solid assessment on, we don't really know what they actually believe (except Najibullah and the religiously motivated types) since there are many gray areas to work with.
