^just recently one of your bjp leaders prahlad remani a memeber of parliment made a speech on India independence day saying Christianity should be weeded out of India.....more than 200 incidents of violence has occurred in only one state Karnataka since the bjp were elected... And let's not forget how Christians have been and are treated in India...burnt alive and persecuted...

As for Sikhs they might fare better, but they too have Khalistan/seperation issues.

You are generalizing here. And if you are going to use examples of inter-faith riots, I ask you again the same question. Are Muslims in Pakistan better off? Economically? Politically? The truth is there's no guarantee. Nobody can say for sure.

What would a hypothetical United India look like today?

Pashtoons were split by an earlier decision (the Durand Line) so where would a modern (extended) India draw their Western border?

Modern India is right now where it should be. I don't want to see history re-written and Pakistan re-incorporated into a greater India. But if you're asking me specifically about Pashtun regions. I dont think they were ever a part of India. Not unless you want to go back to Buddhist times, the BC era. Although it would have been fair to take the British definition of India into the modern India in '47, if Pashtuns didnt see a line running through their lands it was best not to draw one.
