Luffy Zma Roara, can you see how Tajiks have trapped them. The best wish of Tajiks is to see Pashtuns from both sides divided. They will lure Pashtuns in Afghanistan to become against us and to learn Dari and cutt their roots with us.
We will cutt our land away from Pakistan if Pashtuns in Afghanistan can do the same with Tajiks and Uzbeks and Hazaras. If they cant do this, then I am afraid they have no right pushing this Loy Afghanistan agenda upon us.
We need to all work on the same path. We should all support the same cause and not go in different directions in regards to Pashtun Unity.
Luffy Roara, they cant see that a Tajik picture of ahmad shah is placed as a symbol of Afghanistan, the same ISI left-over Trash Ahmad shah Masood is a idol in Afghanistan, Mullah Omar another piece of ISI left-over trash is sat with his Punjabi Comrades in ISI hiding.
Then we have Hazara elders calling Karzai a Pashtunist and that Pashtuns want to take over Afghanistan, if Minorities are saying such things I would be very concerned.
But Anyway, we stick to our principles, if they dont want to listen, then Iam sure Tajikistan or Iran or the Islamic state of Khorasan lol will accept them with open arms.
Nice info i have got here....especially by reading Feroza Bano, Luffy and Shlombay.
Its a fault of our people that we cannot be one at a topic and start fighting everytime.....and then we are dreaming for Loy Afghanistan or independent Pashtunistan etc????
Zaar shem Afghanistan na, zaar shem har Afghaan na.

And therein lies the problem. Afghan nationals find themselves in a multicultural state (a state imposed upon them by the powers of the Great Game) where the slight majority speaks Farsi (Dari, Tajik, Hazara) whereas others speak Pashto, among other languages. They have fallen in love with this image of this multicultural Afghanistan and its non-Afghan inhabitants, who may be Central Asians, Mongolians, etc but definitely not Afghan by ethnicity though only by nationality.
Pakistani Pashtuns take equal pride in Pakistan, another state imposed upon them by foreigners. They think they are the strongest Muslim state in the world. They're not but convincing them otherwise is like arguing with someone senile. They refer to Pashtuns from the west of the Durrand divide as savage "Afghanis". They say that theirs is a powerful, united and faithful Islamic state with a destiny, where all Muslim brothers live in harmony.
Some of these Pakistani Pashtuns want Afghanistan to join their state. Some of the Pashtuns from the west of the Durrand want FATA, Khyber Pashtunkhwa and northern Balochistan to join their multicultural state. Why would a Pashtun leave his Muslim Punjabi and Urdu brothers and join Tajiks and Hazaras? Try telling a Pakistani Pashtun that Tajiks have always lived with Pashtuns in Afghanistan and he'll pull out his "all Muslims are brothers" card in defense of his Punjabi brothers.
We live in a world where Pashtuns worship either the Afghan or the Pakistani state, both entities whose boundaries were set not by our swords but by the bayonets of indifferent colonial powers. We cannot have Pashtun unity until we break off our love affairs with people of other ethnic groups. A Tajik is a Persian-speaking Central Asian and a Punjabi is an Indian proper. A Hazarawaal is a Mongolian and a Sindhi is an Arabized-Indian. None of these people are Afghan (Pashtun). Their interests are different from ours, they have their distinct histories, heroes, cultures, poetry, languages, physical characteristics, destinies, etc.
If there is a state, however, in which Pashtuns make up 90% of the population or more, the minority (whether Farsis or Hindustanis) can be easily side-lined, marginalized and managed and I don't have any problems with that. But we must understand that only a state with an overwhelming Pashtun majority can look after the needs of Pashtuns.

Even though it were us all those centuries ruling over them and convincing them to accept the term 'Afghan' which used to be solely directed at Pukhtoons, we have been the one trapped? Yups, makes sense. Like 'always'.

Warka dang!
where the slight majority speaks Farsi (Dari, Tajik, Hazara) whereas others speak Pashto, among other languages.
And Pukhtoons are becoming much stronger in holding on to Pukhto. More and more Nurestanis and Kohistanis starting to speak Pukhto as their first language (which is starting to be the case since just a few decades). Pretty much all non-Pukhtoons in Pukhto-dominated areas speaking Pukhto. Don't worry, Pukhtoons and Pukhto have woken up.
They have fallen in love with this image of this multicultural Afghanistan and its non-Afghan inhabitants, who may be Central Asians, Mongolians, etc but definitely not Afghan by ethnicity though only by nationality.
We are not in love with the multicultural image; We are in love with our country, which happens to be a multicultural country.

The difference with Pukhtoons of Pakistan is their 'entrance' in Pakistan was started as a force, but slowly went into more accepting of Pakistan. They can find proves all over to what is being done upon them by their government and what they have been through in the past, while in Afghanistan Pukhtoons got only themselves to thank for their situation.
they have their distinct histories, heroes, cultures, poetry, languages, physical characteristics, destinies, etc.
Do you know why an average Tajik knows very less about past Tajik 'heroes'? That's because majority of them, unlike us, don't care about what's history. They live in present and want to build the future, which is something Pukhtoons are struggling at since last three decades. Same might be the case with Punjabis, while the difference being is that I can't remember Tajiks trying as hard to keep Pukhtoons divided? Or Tajiks trying as hard to keep Pukhtoon areas instable?
But we must understand that only a state with an overwhelming Pashtun majority can look after the needs of Pashtuns.
Which Pukhtoon is looking after our needs today? We are not even developed enough to form our own state and last thing I am expecting from a newly formed state is huge majority being illiterate which may start tribal conflicts this time; Southern Afghanistan a living example of it.
First of all you dont have to hate other ethnicities to love your own, you should be proud of your ethnicity but at the same time respect others. There are many people in afghanistan that are mixed, one of them is double abdullah, his father is panjshiri and mother is a pashtun, he knows how to speak both languages. There are also many people in Pakistan that are mixed with Panjabis and Sindis. There are many Pashtuns in Karachi that dont speak pashto, there are many pashtuns in Kabul that dont speak pashto, its not their fault, the language in their environment and education is something else.
The reason Farsi is more advansed in Afghanistan because its literature is rich, but at the same time alot of pashtuns and farsiwans dont realize is that there is alot of arabic that is used in what we call farsi especially in iran. Alot of the old farsi words are no longer used and instead they use arabic words. Pashto is a very rich language but it has been on the decline because all the institutions that once existed to advance the language have been destroyed.
On the other side of the Durand line, Pashto is also on the decline, There are no schools teaching pashto literature, English (British colonial) and Urdo (Moghuls) are the dominent languages. When ever a colonial power comes to a region, They will try to influence the local population with their own culture and language and they do it by building schools and institutions that serve the public.
You will start seeing English being spoken more and more in Afghanistan because the americans are building schools and institutions that will influence the local population with their culture and language.
