This is news to me, where did it mention the woman wanted his money?

Well, they're not wrong , it's not as if these women were held at gunpoint.Originally posted by Azmal View PostHere you go Samandari....I rest my case....here's yet another genuine savage Desi, pathetically impressing upon us that it is actual girls fault for temping this Islamic scholar.
As usual with Desi, it’s all other people’s fault. We will not have brainwashed simpleton village people into Taliban and send them as suicide bomber if it was not Afghanistan refusal to recognizing Durand line...it doesn't matter if we are successor of British Raj for Muslim of Afghanistan and Pashtonistan.--see the pattern?

At present, the only genuine Muslim political leader who has both character and speaks on behalf of Muslims, in my view, is Asaduddin Owaisi. I occasionally watch his interviews. He is obviously a very educated person, a skilled lawyer with a very powerful legal mind. Now this may not be such an amazing thing in the context of any other community, but we all know that in the Muslim world we have nothing but failures as leaders. Our leaders are corrupt and self-serving. Can anyone actually name me a single Muslim leader that is from the middle class and who has become a leader due to his education and skills? On top of that, a Muslim leader who represents Muslims, not some narrow ethnic, linguistic or sectarian interest.
If we look at Pakistan, the political leaders are basically feudalists and those who have inherited the mantle of leadership by being the progeny of previous leaders from the landed aristocracy, or otherwise military dictators. In Afghanistan, your most powerful leaders are basically self-serving warlords who often represent some ethnic group. The leaders in the Arab world are an even bigger joke.
Apart from Asaduddin Owaisi, who is quickly becoming the undisputed political voice of the Muslim community in India, who else can claim to be a genuine Muslim leader?[SIZE="4"][FONT="HardTimesW01-Roman"]My Blog

He has some Good Ideas and his father was a great man ...but like all leaders, I don't like Cults of Personality. ..that sort of attitude is potentially harmful
Official Afghan Presidential Candidate - About Mr. Mutasim Billah Mazhabi
Positives:
he's Anti-Sectarianism
He's anti-Ethnicism
He's grounded in Tariqah Qadiriyyah
Cons:
He's got this very flashy PR campaign
He kind of acts like a business man.
Relies too heavily on his pedigree than his own merits.

Sounds like he's a good leader overall with a good platform. But he obviously isn't a very high profile leader but more of a small time politician. We need more of these kind of leaders for sure. We particularly need more educated leaders that can think outside the box.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostHe has some Good Ideas and his father was a great man ...but like all leaders, I don't like Cults of Personality. ..that sort of attitude is potentially harmful

What I like about Owaisi is that he definitely comes across as an intellectual while at the same time doing politics. This is evident from any one of his numerous interviews with the media. Very few leaders can speak so eloquently and run circles around the shrewd reporters, especially those in India who ask particularly tough questions.
I know Ashraf Ghani is also quite articulate and speaks decent English. But I won't describe him as an intellectual, and obviously he isn't part of my Muslim-centric narrative.
Owaisi's achievement is in making Muslims realize that they shouldn't be satisfied with voting for secular parties that pander to them for votes when it is election time, but forget about them the moment elections are over. It is well known in India that the so-called secular parties have a vested interest in keeping Muslims backwards and perpetually victimized. Owaisi is the one who has awakened them to the reality that they have to organize as a distinct political force that can be a third alternative to both the Hindu nationalist BJP and the "secular" do-nothing parties like Congress.[SIZE="4"][FONT="HardTimesW01-Roman"]My Blog

Why you are so strongly defending Hindus?....Did your Hindu friends feed you gobar and cow-piss or Hindus have become your in-laws in America?Originally posted by Azmal View PostHindu is your Baba's baba--Ali Ponjah's grandfather was a Hindu. I have no issue with Hindu's, I find majority of them as moral people--maybe it is their believe in reincarnation. There is no Hindu brainwashing my people into suicide bomber, no Hindu is occupying half of my land and people. Why the hell I should hate Hindus?
Also my condolence to passing away of your Baba's Hindu daughter.
Jinnah was surely a Hindu/Hindustani, so was Jaswant Singh, the Sikh captain who married niece of Bacha Khan.

Hindus are cunning and kniving people. We have a saying „bagal mein churi, munh mein Ram Ram“
The Hindu Baniya is the classic example of the loan shark. The vicious money lender that exploits people’s desperation. When subjugated they are meek and harmless, as when they were ruled by foreign powers for hundreds of years. But once they gained political power and domination of India they start lording it over the minorities and embark on a process of Hinduization. Suddenly Muslim heroes like Tippu Sultan are villified in the national discourse, Babri Mosque is demolished in broad daylight as the police stand by and do nothing, as part of a movement to erect on its ruins the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, based on nothing but mythology surrounding a mythic figure that never existed.
The upper caste, North Indian Hindu very much sees himself in the same light as the elitist White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP). There is a sense of entitlement and there is what I call upper-caste Hindu privilege.
Muslims who stand up for their political and economic rights are demonized as ‚communalists‘ while the obviously communal Hindu right-wing BJP is given a pass as a ‚national party‘ representing the entire nation. The allegation of terrorism and sympathy for terrorists is routinely leveled against the Muslim who dares to step out of line and criticize the injustice.

Why are you child of Ali Zenah talks about Hindus so much? Even your Punjo masters don't hate Hindus.
Get your facts right about Dr Khan Saib...the Hindu servant daughter who was raised by his English wife had married a Sikh.
Khan Sahib,
Take a look here, it is not uncommon to find Pakistani girl marrying Indians for after all they are from same racial, cultural background.

Azmal, with all due respect (not really), you're using "ammo" that has no relevance to anyone here. You're basically throwing out strawman arguments. Samandri has posted threads critical/disparaging Jinnah, so your spiel makes no sense.Originally posted by Azmal View PostWhat the hell is gobar? I'm sorry I don't speak your Desi language. Gobar is the word and the holy food of your Hindu kin and friends. In Pashto we call it "supa" but i doubt you are equipped with that much Pashto.Originally posted by Azmal View PostWhat the hell is gobar? I'm sorry I don't speak your Desi language. Jinnah married a Parsi woman. Her daughter also married a Parsi by name of Nevile Wadia. But Ghani Khan , son of Bacha Khan, also did the same. He married a Parsi Indian woman by name of Roshan.

Azmal thinks he can get away with lies. The official website of ANP itself says that niece of Bacha Khan or daughter of Khan Sahib by name of Maryam married a Sikh. In the genealogy of Bacha Khan section, the site says ;
"During his stay in England, Dr. Khan Saib got his second marriage with a
Scottish lady named “Mary”. From her, Dr. Khan Sahib had a son named Jan Khan
and a daughter named Maryam. Jan Khan lived for some time in Charsadda but he
died due to typhoid. While Maryam married to a Sikh." Genealogy of Baacha Khan – Awami National Party

Either way, what's up with all these Pashtun nationalists being obsessed with India/Indians? They seem so disconnected from the fikr of normal Afghans/Pashtuns.
According to that page, Abdul Ghani Khan gave both of his daughters to Indians. Imagine an average Afghan doing that.Last edited by maneatinglizard; 11-16-2017, 05:17 PM.

The intense love of Bacha Khani brand of Pashtun nationalists for India (Hindus) is understandable. Khudai Khidmatgar was part of All India Congress (Red shirts were known as "Congressian" in our areas) and they wanted to be part of united India . As they were maltreated in Pakistan because of their association with Congress, Nehre, Gandhi etc, their love for India /Hindus became more intense and exaggerated. If Pakistan had not demonized them and showered them with favours and love instead, there would have been no Pashtun nationalism that you see today. Khan Sahib eagerly became first CM of West Pakistan and Bacha Khan declared his loyalty for the newly created state in the assembly, but Muslim leaguis were intolerant, greedy, power-hungry, selfish, distrustful, and short-sighted......they had created Pakistan for their own personal gains.Originally posted by maneatinglizard View PostI thought the daughter was his wife's from a previous marriage?

Brother are you familiar with Saaduddin Shpoon? He's a Pashtun writer/poet from Khanabad in Kunduz. I think he's Kharoti.
