Afghan-Pakistan Border Villages Brace for Berlin Wall-Style Divide

I thought they had given up on this effort again?
The stupid donkeys are making life harder for people on both sides of the border. Inshallah everyone realizes that, tears the walls down, and sells the metal for scrap.
No one is fooled by Pakistan's two-facedness any longer. This stupid wall wont last Inshallah. Instead, it'll be yet another waste of money by a failure of a government that actually, seriously cites the policies of the joke of the world as an argument for its own actions. What a bunch of clowns.

So building a fence that cuts through the middle of villages is a good thing?Originally posted by Peacelove View PostIts better .... After Gate has been built this was needed to regularize the crossing...So that no one can enter without permission

I think improved border management is a good thing(cuts down on criminal activity) however they should allow free movement among people of these villages.Originally posted by Kaushika
majority of Hilly Rajputs are the product of these cross breeding and want to disassociate with their past. rajputs with rajwadi surnames consider themeselves superior but those native kings who look darker gets mocked as "gola" (mix breed, son of rakhile) so they actually invite light skinned rajputs and kshatriya tribes from Jammu region such as jamwals to sleep with their women so that their wives can give birth to pure white looking Native Child.

Most of the world has moved on from super tight border regulations with physical walls. It's unnatural to how humans have lived throughout history, and doesn't accomplish anything. Rather, it relies on the xenophobic (and usually racist) idea that crime is caused disproportionately by immigrants, while every study I've ever seen has shown that this is not just untrue, but in fact the opposite of reality; i.e. immigrants usually commit fewer crimes than natives.Originally posted by Traveller View PostI think improved border management is a good thing(cuts down on criminal activity) however they should allow free movement among people of these villages.
It's pretty clear that Afghans aren't a major cause of crime in Pakistan. Stupid nationalists can think whatever they want, but there's no evidence that people on either side of the border are significantly different from each other, so how exactly will closing up the border cut down on crime? If the claim is that this will stop or hinder terrorism, then let's be honest with ourselves: Militants will just make holes in the fence and cross anyway. There's no way to station enough people on a 1500 mile border to completely prevent any crossing, and no amount of fencing or walling will stop criminal organizations either. No only that, but we all know Pakistan assists (or conveniently ignores) militant groups operating in Afghanistan, and wont stop even after walling off the border. And as much as the Pakistani establishment likes to claim otherwise, a lot of those people also assist or are otherwise sympathetic to militant groups that operate in Pakistan. So who actually loses here? Innocent people, who wont have the capability to easily circumvent the border restrictions like militant groups, and frequently visited Pakistan for legitimate reasons. I know of a lot of people who travel from Kabul to Peshawar for medical reasons. None of those people ever committed a crime, and their business was good for Peshawar, but the demonizing of Afghans by the idiot Pakistani government, and escalating attempts at harassing them every time they visit, will make less and less of them bother with crossing the border. Those are the people who suffer from strict border policies, not militants who laugh at fences.
I live near the US border with Mexico, and stupid racists constantly demand tighter border restrictions here, but none of these morons actually cross the border or know anything about the immigrants (legal or otherwise) who do. There are already lots of fences here, and people just dig tunnels under them. Or they find some other way to get across. The American government is infinitely more competent than the stooges who run Pakistan, and yet all their efforts at securing their border just makes lives hard for the legitimate, honest immigrants who simply want to come here for business/work/education. Drug runners are barely affected because they are organized and determined. Whatever the US tries to change, they'll figure out a way to circumvent it.
Pakistan has long tried to have its cake and eat it too. The constant threat of terrorist attack in Pakistan is not the fault of any of its neighbors, but rather its own attempts at destabilizing the region. Pakistan is simply reaping the fruits of its own nurturing of militants and terrorists in its neighbors. Even if this wall is completed (and let's be honest, Pakistan isn't stable or competent enough to complete it), there likely will be little effect on the security of Pakistan. And what then? How will Pakistan be able to deflect its own failures on others after the wall fails?Last edited by maneatinglizard; 10-10-2017, 08:50 PM.

Afghanistan is currently home to the US military and the CIA, both of which are known to be far more destabilising, disruptive and deadly to foreign nations than any known terrorist group on this planet. Its insane not to have a water tight border with an occupied nation with a hostile government and known Indian presence. The terrorists and refugees are sadly used as pawns in the greater game with these dubious powers running amok inside.
I believe Russians and Iranians are just as concerned about US designs. No need to single out Pakistan.Signed

Border between Afghanistan and Pakistan must be "fenced" (I am not a s tupid Paki nationalist so I know its almost impossible to do due to the wild terrain but we got to find a way to solve this for good), mined and sealed. The less we rely on Pakistan, the better.
I am glad to see that Afghanistan is increasing trade with Iran and CAR´s. We should also focus on Chabahar and trading with the GCC, India and the West. Today Afghanistan has pulled off from a trade meeting with Pakistan which I find great. Pakistan has nothing to offer but terrorism and mangoes. Let Pakis rot. Let China loot their country. It will be fun lol

afghanistan has really good fruits tbh, pakistani fruits arent nearly as good except mangoesOriginally posted by RazorSince this is clearly the edgy season, let me adopt the same rhetoric. What does Afghanistan currently have to trade, besides terrorism and opium. At least you are getting the fuking mangoes.

We have terrorism, opium, fruits, dry fruits (almonds, pistachios, etc), saffron, carpets, gemstones such as lapizlazuli, ruby, emerald, etc. Natural resources such as gas, oil, etc. We have like the largest mineral riches in the world (at least 1$ trillion). And we are a crossroad between Iran/ME/Europe, CAR´s/Russia, China and India/Pakistan. I f properly managed we could become a good and stable country.Originally posted by RazorSince this is clearly the edgy season, let me adopt the same rhetoric. You MF Paki nationalists need to smell the coffee and wake up. Our country is much more important than yours. Our country has potential to become a good, prospere and stable place. Afghan people do believe in education, egalitarianism, stability and moderation. I once read on a wall in Kabul a poem in Farsi that struck me: "Afghanistan is a flower that will bloom in peace". Afghans are smart and hard-workers. We can make good contributions to the world.
Please, kill yourself. Thank you.

Afghanistan has great fruits (don't want to say the best, but almost). Afghan water-melon, melon, Kandahari pomegranates, peach and apple from Shamali, grapes from Herat, etc. Afghanistan is a blessed country, with a good location, vast natural resources, a rich geography (mountains, deserts, valleys, steppes, etc). We just need a little bit of peace and stability and our country will develop.Originally posted by kunatawar View Postafghanistan has really good fruits tbh, pakistani fruits arent nearly as good except mangoes"For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,
