The vast majority of Pashtuns are Muslims as a race.. Pashtuns are not perfect and neither are Muslims.

There are more Muslims around the world that don't speak Arabic that do. Islam isn't limited to the Arabic language. Just because you don't speak Arabic doesn't mean you can't be a Muslim. It is an advantage if you speak it as you can understand the Quran better but it's not a must. A huge number of Arabs don't speak the type of Arabic that is written in the Quran. Quranic Arabic is "fussha" whereas nowadays spoken Arabic is "aamiyah". The closest to "fussha" Arabic so I've heard is supposedly spoken in Saudi or Iraq.

Islam is not exclusive to Arabs. At the time Islam as we know it came to us, Arabs were amongst the worst people. Not everyone from Makkah is a cleric or a scholar. Just because an Arab is from Makkah doesn't make him a better Muslim. He may understand the Quran better than someone whose language isn't Arabic but that alone doesn't make him closer to Allah. Islam doesn't come from Arab culture. Arab culture is much older than what we know as Islam. There are a lot of aspects of Arab culture that are against Islam you misled Indic bigot.

Arabs don't look down on us-trust me on this one. Every time I have told an Arab I am Pashtun/Afghan I have been shown nothing but respect. Not every Muslim nation is Muslim because they were conquered. A lot of Muslim nations accepted it without being subjugated. The Muslim world on the whole is a lot larger than its Arab constituent.
