So if Samandri tells you to jump in a well would you ?

      Tell me that's 100 ?

Somebody better tell Sean Penn and Robert De Niro (two of the biggest stars in Hollywood history) not to holiday in Pakistan because they have no idea themselves . Not everyone is Stupid like you guys .

It's rich because it's true and accurate'; Samandri LIVES or HAS lived in your city. He's a much better resource because he's not here to do some sort of Self Appeasing Damage control in an attempt to mask his image.

Unlike you who has come here for that expressed purpose.. Yeah those Musicians are clueless. With the fanatics in Pakistan , it's a matter of time when one of these moronic celebs gets shot by some psychopath Talb. An international episode waiting to happen.

And those pictures are from years ago when De Niro and Penn were doing charity work; a few White people coming to your country out of pity and screwing prostitutes at the Heera Mandi; congratulatoons?

Yeap and like always you ignore 95 % of the post and stick with one sentence and beat it to death . 99 % of Afghans might not know who madonna is . Doesnt make her B or C list .Majority of you donot have any global exposure .

This is a list of third world countries i certainly dont see Pakistan there . But your country certainly tops the list if they were to derive who is in stone age amongst the third world .

I know who Madonna is because she's actually a cultural icon in Western countries. But this DJ Diplo is basically no one. It's 2016, most consumer markets in the West don't care about the grammies because those are created by the dying Record Industry, largely due to independent artists using the internet rising to prominence

Its quite funny how you guys get butthurt . Over there on Defence.pk we allow Indians to have their own exclusive thread just to show off their development so that we can compare it to ours . Another thread is just for anything related positive to India and the third is Indian tourism thread where hundreds of Indians come and post but no Pakistani ever gets insecure of that . You guys deep in your heart are a very insecure bunch . Anything positive about Pakistan (these days its usually positive ) you guys get a stroke . De niro came for a holiday in Hunza and Penn came in 2012 not long ago. Do you even know how many concerts have been held in Pakistan since 2006? Hundreds of them and not one bad incident . Also 1 million tourists who visit us disagree with your notion . There is a bad insurgency going on in kashmir and 10-15 others in india's north east . You dont see international celebs , tourists shunning them do they ? Few white people ?Pakistan has attracted the biggest of A lists that included Lady Diana (who loved Pakistan alot ) to the Beatles and even Mike Tyson was scheduled to come in 2011 but had to cancel due to his loss in ring .

I live in Islamabad and not Peshawar . Which has seen no blast since August 2014 and has a very low crime rate even by international standards . That automatically makes it safer than places like Istanbul , Paris who are regular target these days .

I've never been to Defence.PK, we're not a hive mind, what other Afghans do is inconsequential to me. but as Samandri posted; you got triggered so deeply by Afghans downgrading you, you were compelled to come here That says something.

Penn came in 2012, one of the worst periods of the TTP insurgency. Yeah dumb.

Keep projecting your insecurities; but remember, I didn't run to round up support because I was triggered by forum posts on ANOTHER forum. You are.

There isn't much to blast in Islamabad, so that could be why

Nations online ? Seriously? It has Countries like Brazil , Argentina , South Africa , Malaysia (Almost Developed) Singapore (Developed) and Chile (developed country) showing as Third world .LDC is a whole chapter we study in economics. Third world is a cold war term . Either I will believe nations online or UN who has outlined the requirements for a country to be LDC . Ours certainly don't fit in those 48 countries . Neither are Indians third world in a technical sense because both of us have a very big middle class . While Bangladesh will crawl out of that list soon.

He's pretty smart; he has a very good blog on Pashtun history; just because you got triggered by him doesn't mean he's dumb.

You don't have Pashtun traits so I can understand why he might categorize you as Hindkowan or something as these have been historically subjugated peoples under the Pashtun heel.

I'm sure Islamabad has facilities for the well to-do, but that's the thing, that's only a fraction of Islamabad, as you yourself admitted "well guarded" and "restricted" which means only the power fascists in Pakistan can enjoy them, not common Pakistani. That isn't anything to brag about AT ALL.

And and I clicked your link; here's what it says

Quality of Life in Islamabad, Pakistan

                    Compare Islamabad with:
                    Type and Pick City
Warning There are no much data for Islamabad.

                    LOL

That's more like 99 % of Islamabad . That's the thing it was made for Upper and Elite class . All of the city . Currently around 2 million reside there . The Cheapest house you can get in possibly the cheapest place is for $300000-500000 . Therefore within the vicinity there are rarely any poor people (am against poverty want everyone to have a good life) . You have been shown 20 different aerial views but you are kind of stuck in your own ways . Its a Planned city . All Planned cities in the world are exactly like that . This was Back in 1999 when it had a per capita of $ 7665 .

Just how rich are Islamabad & Karachi?

KARACHI: Gloom-and-doom type commentators in this country never tire of reminding us of how India's economy is doing "so much better" than ours. But by one important yardstick at least, India is way behind us. The yardstick: which of the two countries has the richest cities, India or Pakistan?

According to a new survey of 40 key Asian cities carried out by the Hong Kong-based news magazine Asiaweek, Islamabad, Pakistan's richest city, with an average per capita income of $ 7,665, and Karachi, its biggest city, with an average per capita income of $ 6,961, are both several times richer than India's three richest cities: Bombay, Delhi and Bangalore.

Bombay (or Mumbai, as Maharashtra's Shiv Sena state government insists on calling it), India's richest city, and also its biggest, has an average per capita income of $ 2,515 - only 33 per cent of Islamabad's and only 36 per cent of Karachi's. Delhi, India's second richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 2,128 - only 27 per cent of Islamabad's and only 30 per cent of Karachi's.

Bangalore, India's third richest city and the hub of its computer industry, has an average per capita income of $ 1,467 - only 19 per cent of Islamabad's and only 21 per cent of Karachi's. Thus, Islamabad and Karachi are roughly three times richer than Bombay, three-and-a-half times richer than Delhi and five times richer than Bangalore.

This suggests that Bombay is not quite the economic powerhouse it is made out to be; that Delhi is a pauper compared to Islamabad; and that Bangalore - for all the recent media hype about its computer boom and yuppie lifestyle - has a long, long way to go before it catches up with Karachi in prosperity.

Islamabad and Karachi are also much richer than the richest cities in the other main South Asian countries: Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Nepal's capital Kathmandu has an average per capita income of $ 3,254 - only 42 per cent of Islamabad's and only 46 per cent of Karachi's.

Sri Lanka's capital Colombo has an average per capita income of $ 2,608 - only 34 per cent of Islamabad's and 37 per cent of Karachi's. Bangladesh's capital Dacca, and its richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 839 - only 11 per cent of Islamabad's and only 12 per cent of Karachi's.

Chittagong, Bangladesh's second richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 798 - only 10.4 per cent of Islamabad's and only 11.4 per cent of Karachi's. Islamabad and Karachi are also richer than many of the richest cities in other Asian countries, including mainland China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

China's capital Beijing, and mainland China's second richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 6,097 - only 79 per cent of Islamabad's and only 87 per cent of Karachi's. Guangzhou, mainland China's richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 7,107 - only 92 per cent of Islamabad's and a shade over Karachi's.

Shanghai, mainland China's third richest city and currently the world's biggest urban construction site, has an average per capita income of $ 5,985 - only 78 per cent of Islamabad's and only 85 per cent of Karachi's. Indonesia's capital Jakarta, and its richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 3,468 - only 45 per cent of Islamabad's and only 49.8 per cent of Karachi's.

Surabaya, also known as Surabaja, Indonesia's second richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 3,389 - only 44 per cent of Islamabad's and only 48.6 per cent of Karachi's. Bandung, Indonesia's third richest city, and one that became famous throughout the developing world as the place from where the Non-Aligned Movement was launched in 1955, has an average per capita income of $ 2,680 - only 34 per cent of Islamabad's and only 38.5 per cent of Karachi's.

Vietnam's capital Hanoi, and its second richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 3,270 - only 42 per cent of Islamabad's and only 46.9 per cent of Karachi's. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), Vietnam's richest city, and also the city where the majority of the country's free-wheeling business entrepreneurs live, has an average per capita income of $ 3,793 - only 49 per cent of Islamabad's and only 54 per cent of Karachi's

Laos's capital Vientiane, and its richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 1,776 - only 23 per cent of Islamabad's and only 25.5 per cent of Karachi's. Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh, and its richest city, has an average per capita income of $ 1,377 - only 18 per cent of Islamabad's and only 19.2 per cent of Karachi's.

The survey also shows that Karachi has 400 vehicles per kilometre of city roads, compared to 219 in Bombay, 114 in Delhi, 173 in Singapore, 373 in Bangkok, 141 in Tokyo, 113 in Shanghai and 72 in Dhaka. Most surprising of all, the survey shows that Islamabad is the safest city in Asia, with only 0.2 criminal cases per 10,000 of population.

You are incredibly triggered, you keep trying but no success. No offense but the fact he put a screen shot of you needing to call for reinforcements suggests that you have a little "crew" in these forums that specific work to make sure you have a false sense of complacency in the illusion of Pakistan's welfare. It wouldn't surprise me that probably has to do with his banning as the fact people's views on another forum that ebbs away at all that, made you uncomfortable.

As for the alleged wealth of Islamabad, how much of that is hoarded by the elite and how much of it is actually in the hands of 99% of the people? It's easy to "average" out numbers when it doesn't account for things like this. LOL

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

LOL
The people there are mostly upper class /Elite . You wont find a person with a donkey cart or a rickshaw there . That's what am talking about . In Karachi , Lahore , Faisalabad etc you have Elite areas , upper middle class , lower middle class and then the poor areas . In Karachi there elite areas but there are poor areas too . So if a lower - middle class guy wants to rent/buy a house he can manage that easily . In Islamabad there is no such thing as a ''poor'' or affordable area because its a planned city keeping in mind a particular class . Alot of our Middle class can afford now because its one of the fastest growing in the world .

Pakistan has 18th largest ‘middle class’ in the world: report - The Express Tribune

According to Credit Suisse, total wealth in Pakistan amounted to $495 billion in 2015. Given that the figure stood at $170 billion in 2000, total wealth in Pakistan has increased at an annualised rate of 7.4% for the last 15 years.

Total wealth of the world increased on average by 5.2% annually over the same 15-year period, the report shows

Our Formal GDP is $300 billion , not surprised by the 500 billion figure because of majority of money is untaxed here . Tax reforms will bring it in formal economy .

As for me coming here i have ticked alot of people because most of them are Afghans who hate our guts . Most of them Fantasize about some lost empire 400 years ago that they can't let go off . These people aren't exactly used to facts and figures hence you have slugfests of '' Dalkhor Pakistani am better than you because I rule you 500 years ago '' logics .

Let's not hide behind "feel good" rhetoric. The "18th largest" middle class loses meaning when you factor in what's deemed middle class.

World Population by Income | Pew Research Center

13% of people globally are middle income

People living on $10.01-20 daily are classified as middle income
10.01 is minimum wage in America LOL

Need I remind you; you came to us out of vexation over what people say here, NOT the other way around., Even in your time here, you've had to back peddle several times (within this thread even) which suggests an ebbing away at this masquerade of complacency.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."
