No language can remain the language of culture and civilization forever. And these are turns of history. The people of Norway practiced cannibalism a thousands years ago (in 11th Century) yet they are one of the most organized and civilized society today. Pashtuns are a hardy race and once having come out of old tradition, they will progress by leaps and bounds.

Men you are one ignorant poster, kill yourself before posting something again about genetics.Originally posted by Azmal View PostOn Contrary Pashtuns have no Turks or Dravidian.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pashtuns
The haplogroup R1a (Y-DNA) is found at a frequency of 51.02% among the Pashtun people. Paragroup Q-M242 (xMEH2, xM378) (of Haplogroup Q-M242 (Y-DNA)) was found at 16.3% in Pashtuns.[77] Haplogroup Q-M242 is also found at a frequency of 18% in Pashtuns in the Afghan capital of Kabul.[78]
According to a 2012 study:"MDS and Barrier analysis have identified a significant affinity between Pashtun, Tajik, North Indian, and West Indian populations, creating an Afghan-Indian population structure that excludes the Hazaras, Uzbeks, and the South Indian Dravidian speakers. In addition, gene flow to Afghanistan from India marked by Indian lineages, L-M20, H-M69, and R2a-M124, also seems to mostly involve Pashtuns and Tajiks. This genetic affinity and gene flow suggests interactions that could have existed since at least the establishment of the region's first civilizations at the Indus Valley and the Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex."The abstract states:"our results that all current Afghans largely share a heritage derived from a common unstructured ancestral population that could have emerged during the Neolithic revolution and the formation of the first farming communities. Our results also indicate that inter-Afghan differentiation started during the Bronze Age, probably driven by the formation of the first civilizations in the region."[79]
However, there is a clear genetic difference amongst Pashtuns and Persian speakers of Afghanistan in terms of inverse J2a/R1a frequencies
J-M172 is found at moderate frequencies among Central Asian people such as Uyghurs, Uzbeks, Turkmens, Tajiks, Kazakhs, and Yaghnobis. According to the genetic study in Northeast China by Shou et al. (2010), a notable high frequency of J-M172 is observed particularly in Uyghurs 34% and Uzbeks 30.4% in East Turkestan, China. J*-M304, which is the genetic marker to define Paragroup J-P209, is also found among Xibo, Kazakh, Dongxiang and Uzbek people in Northwest China. This study also displays how far lineage J2 reached eastward, and it is also noted that the estimated age of J2-M172 in this region seems more ancient than the history of Islam.
Above proves Changiz khan having his way with your great great grandma. --I call you flat headed for no reason! lol
Afghanis are all mixed with each other. The reason afghani pashtuns have more south indian genes is because of being closer to Hindu Kush, while other ethnicity are more influenced by east asian genes. This doesn't mean afghani pathans have no east asian at all, they also have quite a bit.
R1a doesn't mean much, 71% of Mohanna Sindhis were found to have it and according to British empire sources they were darker then average sindhi.
I guess before east asian genes invaded afghanis pretty much had same admixture scores across ethnics.Last edited by Golden; 06-13-2016, 12:48 AM.

No I understood exactly what you meant; but even the statement is flawed, as there were cultures even within that umbrella of "culture" often competing against one another. Often not sharing an overarching theme or principle.Originally posted by Firdousi View Post
You see? Even a smart Pashtun like yourself is unable to accept the truth and rather you prefer to hide behind fancy words.
Embarrassing.
As the Hashshashin culture the same as Reza Pahlavi? Ikhwan Al Safa the same as Al Bukhari? If your unifying principle is language, then that's a bit tenuous as a measuring stick.
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Good source; however, If you examine the Persian word pu'ya and pashto word poha, they're unrelated.
پوهه Poha ends with Ha, where as Pu'ya . پویا ends with Alif
even the meanings; Poha means having understanding, possessing knowledge, someone who is "Pohand" refers to someone who has achieved knowledge. So even if we suggest "Pu'ya" is equivalent to "Search for knowledge", which is quite a stretch, it wouldn't be analogous.
In Pashto we use the term "ezda" when referring to seeking knowledge like "Ezda waka" means study or learn.
About Pashtuns and pederasty in poetry; here are some examples
Baryalai Samadi - Pekay Arawalay Halak De Sumra Khkulai Pashto New Song - YouTube
This is song by Ubaidullah Jan, which is based on the poetry of Sayyed Abdul Khaleq
Rozi di naswala ashnaye da khpal ashna zorgaya - YouTube
The lyrics are clearly romantic and clearly directed to a male.
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Paki pathans are educated lot, better for sure then Tajiks/persians of Afghanistan without any shadow of doubt. On average in every field they are on par with punjabis and muhajirs. In Pakistan sindhis and baloch are two ethnic groups who need quota to advance in career. So problem is certainly with afghani state if Afghani pathans are somehow less educated then Tajiks. Remember pathans are same in both sides.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostHashashashin were an offshoot of the Persian culture. Smelly paki ji dont try to compare yourselves to Pashtuns or any Afghan. If you want to compare pakis to anyone then compare yourselves to your own punjabi brothers and fathers, the Sikhs.

But Hashashahin weren't the same culture as Bukhari clearly. So clearly this statement is ludicrous. See this needs to stop. There are a huge quantity of Afghans and Baloch who hate Pakistan. Instead of branding them as 'Hindus' or 'Indian agents', try to understand their point of view, or just ask.Originally posted by ANAcommander View PostHow much more **** are you going to suck fake-baluch. Actually, there's a pretty good reason why a lot Pakistanis don't visit Balochistan anymore, you should know this. There are some good people here, who can give you concrete reasons why they have problems with Pakistan. I know Friends of Baloch has his particular way of putting it (lol), and I don't entirely agree with the method, but try and understand. You're in Pashtunforums, not a Pakistani forum.Originally posted by ANAcommander View PostI know you will never make an appearance because you are a coward hindu hiding behind a fake ID. Edit: Totally forgot to give my opinion on the topic.
I don't think there are any current leaders in Afghanistan who are 'Pashtunist'. If Pashtunist means, imposing Pashto as the official language, or giving preference to Pashtuns over other groups, I didn't see that in Hamid Karzai or Ashraf Ghani.
Daud Khan was sympathetic to Pashtun nationalists across the border, and even sent militias to FATA on some occasions... but even that was in vain.Last edited by Porus; 06-13-2016, 10:46 PM.
