He is saying "that Afghan refugees should leave Balochistan otherwise "Balochs" will forcibly remove them.

This Sarfraz Bugti is an agent of ISI, a turd known for being traitor to Bugti tribe and licks the boots of faujis. And it seems he is on some agenda, trying to fuel ethnic tension with Pashtuns of Balochistan. That being said almost all Baloch separatists have also same views about Afghan refugees and those suspected to be "Illegal Afghan settlers" (Tens of thousands of Ghilzai nomads settled in Balochistan in 19th century who had British Indian citizenship and have Pakistani citizenship from the begining, Baloch count them as "illegal settlers"). This statement will restore some of Sarfraz lost dignity in the eyes of Balochs, it will appeal to them

Punjos are trying to put Afghan(Pashtun) against Baloch, first it started with changing Afghan names of places---Kandhari bazar(market) was changed to Jenah Bazar and so on. This will not work as Pashtuns of Balochistan are the most nationalist one, unlike ta bandi ma bandi makani Peshawari.

Can't express enough thanks for this post. This is exactly the tactic that Poonjabis use to disunite and create hatred amongst Afghans. Sadly, this tactic has worked so well that Porkistani Pashtuns spit at their own ancestry and homeland of Afghanistan while they're being spat on by the Poonjabis. The sheer success of this is just shocking, 99% of Porkistani Poonjabis hate Pashtuns (or "Pathan" which is what they refer to them as) yet my fellow Pashtuns on the other side of the artificial Durand Line then sympathise and feel proud of Porkistan. You ask me, this is a case of Stockholm Syndrome at its finest. This however will eventually backfire and cause disunity amongst Porkistanis themselves.

afghanis and their decades old dreams of disunity among noble Pakistanis. That's just sad and pathetic thing to wish.

I ask again what is the point of loy afghanistan when half of afghani pathans are in Pakistan and rest can't wait to move in?

It's time we started to think about Loy Pakistan because at this rate there will not be any pathan left in Afghanistan.

Loy Porkistan? "Loy" is a Pashtun word, not a Poonjabi Urdu one. Not only that, just the thought of greater Porkistan is hilarious.

Baloch nationalists and separatists do not need to be convinced by Punjabis to have such views about Afghan refugees.

"The BNP-M chief said that thousands of Afghan and other foreign refugees were living in Balochistan illegally and his party would not accept the census in their presence. These foreign refugees must be repatriated before the start of population survey because if the census was held in their presence the Baloch majority in the province would convert into a minority. “Conducting census in the present situation would be a conspiracy against the Baloch people,” he added."

This is why we need to get rid of nation states based n ethnicity and politics of ethnicity and nationalism.

If there was a government in the region where everyone was treated equally and with dignity, nobody would need a pashtun, a baloch, a tajik, a sindhi or a punjabi state.

Found this on a blog of a Baloch ultra nationalist

"Baloch War with Afghans in 1980 at Quetta

in 1980, A huge War took place between the Baloch and Afghans in Quetta over the issue of afghan refugees. The afghans attacked the Baloch of Quetta but they were heavily defeated by the Baloch, the afghans left the battle field leaving their slippers behind and all those old people who live in quetta know about this war very well."

Islamabad actually supported Balochistan pathans over ethnic Baloch, because former never had any separatist tendencies. This allowed ethnic based parties like PMAP to increase their vote bank by granting afghani refugees illegal CNICs just like once MQM did for muhajirs in Karachi.

This indirectly effect every Pakistani because federal resources and parliament seats are divided over population numbers after census.

If it was other way around then you guys will cry day and night.

Yep thats true. The Punjabi establishment is a hardcore enemy of Baluchs. Unlike with the Pashtuns, Punjabis have been 100% unable to brainwash Balochs and turn them into crazy fundamentalist psychos. Baluch nationalism, despite being bound to fail (they are fighting a lost cause), remains secular and will always be so. Thats why Punjabis support Pashtuns over Baluchs: the former is easy to brainwash and control. The late is not.

We really need to develop the concept of "citizen" in the Islamic world. No matter your ethnicity or your religious background, you are a citizen above all. Of course all citizens are equals in rights and obligations. This will help us to leave behind sectaricism and ethnic nationalism.

Of course this concept must be adapted to our own social and cultural reality. We don't need to import the Western concept of the term.

I never understood this notion of baluch being secular lol Anyway since return of democracy in Pakistan, nationalist baluch have realized they better adjust or see Balochistan completely go away from them.

Yes Pakistani establishment can go to any length for integrity of fort of Islam. From making nuclear bombs to transplanting afghani pathans in balochistan. Now baloch leaders are crying about demographics change and they have a good reason to do so. I blame Zia-ul-Haq for afghan refugee problem.

                            When and where?

Balochs are actually preferred to win back their hearts. Pashtuns of Balochistan are not privileged, they are not just ignored by Islamabad but their rights are also usurped by the Baloch-Brahui alliance. There never has been a single Pashtun CM of Baluchistan, while the powerless seat of governor alternates between Baloch and Pashtun. Provincial bureaucracy is overwhelmingly dominated by Balochs. Pashtuns are ahead of Balochs in only those fields where merit and talent is requirement.

Pashtun nationalists of Baluchistan have remained neutral in the conflict between Baloch nationalists and the federal/army. Their entire politics is about getting rights in proportion to their population in the province and proper representation......The Balochi government turned a Pashtun majority Sibi district into Baloch majority by removing a Pashtun Tehsil from it and adding a Baloch tehsil to it from another districts. PMAP protested against it. Afghans here are ignorant about these things.

You are right to some extent, in recent years Islamabad is trying to make up for 3-4 decades now that Baluch insurgency have almost died out.
