Discarding him is like discarding their influence in the movement.
I am 90% sure that it was the Iranians that gave his location. His car was literally hit by the missile not even 5 minutes away from the Iranian border. Pakistan army is still in shock and that's why the ISPR has been tight-lipped about the whole thing and made no comment. Pakistan was trying to get the Afghan government and Taliban to reconcile their differences via dialogue, but it seems like the US and Iranians don't want that to happen.

The US want to maintain their presence in Afghanistan, the Iranians want to drive a wedge between Pakistan and Afghan Taliban so they can be used to check the presence of ISIS, and the Afghan government as usual is the lapdog of the US, that wants to hurt Pakistan. Not to mention the Indian influence in both Afghanistan and Iran. It seems all the rabid dogs have turned on Pakistan. If the Pakistani government had any honor, they would issue a statement saying they want nothing to do with the peace process, and that Afghan Taliban are no longer their problem since the US betrayed their initiative for peace in Afghanistan.

Whatever the case, things are going to get a lot worse for Afghanistan and the US, because the next leader of the taliban is Mawlawi Haibatullah Akhundzada. He's pretty ruthless and having Mullah Omar's son and Sirajuddin Haqqani as joint deputy heads are only going to make things worse. The taliban are pissed off and out for blood.

I hope Pakistan starts fencing the border because **** is literally about to hit the fan.

Pakistan has F-16s and could intercept most aircraft that enters their airspace. I don't really understand what you are trying to say since Wikileaks confirmed that Pakistan military gives direct permission for US drone strikes (drones which fly lower than jets)
Seems you did not get my point. I did not say "you can not bring down a drone", I meant to say "you don't dare to bring down a drone". You would allow USA to bomb the hell out of your country just as long as the free money keeps coming. Do you get it now?

Dude, just yesterday we signed a key deal with Iran and India that will help us to bypass you country, have full access to sea and improve our economy. Do you realize that few RPG´s mean nothing compared to what is going here?

Dogs fight in packs. We are not afraid of the Indians, so what is Afghanistan?

We are not worried my farsi brother, because we never had hope in you from the beginning.

You are damn scared of India, don't kid yourself. Since your foundation the only goal of your existence is to fight, antagonize and make trouble in India. All your policy, whether foreign or national, is Indian-centric. Just check out any Pakistani newspaper right now and you will see "India, India, India" all the time.

Honestly, its good. Dont change your aggressive mentality. Keep considering everyone as your enemy. You will find yourselves friendless and isolated. All your neighbors are improving their relationship, investing and trading. Its only you Paksitani who are unable to leave behind that warmonger and anti-India mentality behind. Little by little you will become a Chinese satellite. Pakistan will become North Korea 2.0 very soon. Yeah you might have few nukes but nobody likes you. You will become a pariah state.

Why do you think we need friends like you? Pakistan is an emerging economy, while Afghanistan with all of it's hand outs is still not worth ****. My farsi brother, you still don't realize one thing. The Iranians don't care about you. The US does not care about you. The Indians do not care about you. Your own government does not care about you. For them this is a pay off from the blood of your own people. You think any of these players actually give a **** about you?

Your Iranian brothers mistreat your refugees and make them eat toilet dirt. They think of Afghans as a virus that needs to leave their body. On the other hand, Pakistan is the only country in the entire world that has treated Afghans with dignity. If you don't believe me, then try to figure out why half of the members of your government have Pakistani passports. They came to Pakistan and were free to live and start businesses, unlike in Iran where they were made to live in concentration camps. We hold the biggest refugee population in the world because we are not racist and have big hearts.

Afghans are a part of our family, but you are the type of brother that aligns with outsiders out of jealousy to hurt his other brother. All Pakistanis want is that Afghanistan does not do the bidding of India and not suppress Pashtun population otherwise we have no issues with Afghanistan. Afghanistan is more than a friend to Pakistan. But your former Northern Alliance members of government have their own agenda. In history we never attacked your nation, but you did attack us. We only supported you so that could be free and not be called ahmedzaiof . We did our best, and tried to help but now you people choose to be called ahmedzaidev.

We are not your enemy. Your new found friends are. They will use you, abuse you, and leave you, but Pakistan will always be there for you as your neighbor and brother.

Well brother its obvious you are sick lol

I don't care about Iran neither. I only care about Afghanistan. But I have more inclination for Iran over Pakistan, no doubt about this. As you have pointed out, there is too much hatred between Iranians and Afghans.. but it will be gone once economy, trade and collaboration increase. Our relationship with Iran is much better now than 15 years ago while we still at the same point with Pakistani. With Ghani you had a good opportunity to change your foreign policy. To stop with your terrorist nature and become a proud and importan neighbor. Now that opportunity is gone.

You see? We all Afghans, Indians, Iranians, Central Asians,.. are trying to move on. To start over. To leave behind the mistrust and hatred. To work shoulder by shoulder. To improve our life. Its only you Pakistanis who still stuck in that old "anti-everyone" paradigma. You will suffer. You know I am right.

Take care and please don't bother me unless its for something meaningful.

You did not answer my question.
Why is Iran providing support for the Taliban insurgency that is fighting to displace the Kabul regime (dominated by Persian speakers as you say?) Most US troops have left, and Taliban insurgency for most part are waging war against the ANA (dominated by Persian speakers as you say).

Pashtuns and Shias are historical rivals. They don't trust each other and have no parallel interests with each other.
Interests change over time. Pashtun-Shia rivalry existed even when Ahmad Shah Abdali was a commander of Nader Shah's army. Mirwais Hotak also had strong ties with Safavids before breaking away from them.

Of course you would not allow Indian drones flying over Kashmir. But USA drones are allowed over FATA and Baluchistan? Do you know why? Beacause your country is broke and you are highly dependent on American aid. Basically you let USA to violate you because you get money in return. No offense, buddy, but your country has become a prostitute state.

Most of your questions about Iran and Taliban have been answered already. Iran just wants to have some channels open with the Taliban just in case of worst scenario and also in order to give them support in order to keep ISIS at bay in eastern provinces. Makes perfect sense. Current Afghan regime fits much better in Iranian plans than an hypothetical Taliban take over (that won't happen anyway. Current Burka Pakistani sponsored offensive has failed miserably).

Iran, Afghanistan, CA and India are involved into huge logistical, infrastructure and economical enterprises that will bring a lot of progress, trade and integration to all of us. Its a win win situation for all us. Money is the ultimate goal, buddy. Taliban are a threat to that dream. The Afghan regime is not.

BTW if you are going to repeat all the time the same BS, please don't bother.

"Buddy" haha I see you have been paying attention to my every word and it bothers you because it is all fact based whereas yours is all wishful thinking.

Most of your questions about Iran and Taliban have been answered already. Iran just wants to have some channels open with the Taliban just in case of worst scenario and also in order to give them support in order to keep ISIS at bay in eastern provinces.
No you still refuse to answer this question below so you are just annoyed with me because I show the facts.

ISIS? Did ISIS exist in 2007? How do you explain the fact that Iran has been arming the Taliban since 2005?

First US report is from 2007 where former Secretary Burns says this

                      Iran arming Taliban, U.S. claims - CNN.com
[The United States has "irrefutable evidence" that Tehran is transferring arms to Taliban fighters in Afghanistan, a top U.S. diplomat told CNN Wednesday, noting that NATO forces have intercepted some of the arms shipments."There's irrefutable evidence the Iranians are now doing this and it's a pattern of activity," U.S. Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns told CNN.

"It's certainly coming from the government of Iran. It's coming from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard corps command, which is a basic unit of the Iranian government," Burns said.]
McChrystal: Taliban training in Iran - Iranian Threat - Jerusalem Post

Another report from 2010 by US General McChrystal:

Is US general McChrystal lying because this truth doesn't fit your narrative or the reality you want to accept?

                      By ASSOCIATED PRESS \
                      05/30/2010 20:24

[Gen. Stanley McChrystal told reporters in the Afghan capital that Iran had generally assisted the Afghan government in fighting the insurgent group. "There is, however, clear evidence of Iranian activity — in some cases providing weaponry and training to the Taliban — that is inappropriate," he said, adding that NATO forces were working to stop both the training and the weapons trafficking.]

Now unless you want to say the US (masters of the Kabul regime and Pak regime) are lying, then be my guest. That would be selective and cherry picking, and laughable!

Makes perfect sense. Current Afghan regime fits much better in Iranian plans than an hypothetical Taliban take over (that won't happen anyway. Current Burka Pakistani sponsored offensive has failed miserably).
                      See above response.

Buddy, the Kabul regime is only significant as a rubber stamp for US interests. It's control does not even extend beyond Kabul.

The US did a prisoner exchange with the Taliban without even informing the Kabul regime back in 2013, that is what the Kabul regime means to the US.

BTW if you are going to repeat all the time the same BS, please don't bother.
Actually, you should feel honored that I even respond to your nonsense. At first I thought you were uninformed, but now I realized your tragic Iranian wannabe (most Tajiks are not like you) who is blinded to the reality of what Iran is actually doing.

Everyone here sees you as an Iranian wannabe blowing of steams of frustration on this forum.

Persian-Shia being interchangeable. Point Im making is that even Ahmad Shah Abdali and Mirwais Hotak cooperated with Persians before opposing them.

Hotak worked with the Safavids before rising up against them.
