How is it not representative? It's based on recent findings.

It clearly says that in the spread sheet. It is not my fault that you failed to read and that the results don't match up with your dreams of pashtuns being like indians, Mr "Karachi."

Punjabi Jatts and Sindhis are like 15-20% South Indian, while the pashtun amounts line up more with the persian amounts.

Ethnic persians and kurds score 5-6% ASE and East Asian combined while even afghan pashtuns (not counting Pak pathans) score up to 15-20% ASE+E Asian. This is screen shot from your link

Also this is even more odd:

5 Makrani + Pashtun_Afghan @ 3.164453
1 Pashtun_Afghan @ 6.059044

Also "gujurati A" is a very west shifted gujurati, a user on another forum told me that that might have pathan ancestry. And i think these are a pakistani pashtun's results. Based on the recent percentages, Iranian Persians should be the pashtuns closest relative outside of Afghanistan.
Actually, the results make perfect sense, since the sample is from the Kandahar area, which is an area where Baloch are prevalent.

The Punjabi samples are Pakistani Punjabis, some of whom are not too far from Pashtun areas.

The reason 50% Makrani/ 50% Pashtun is closer, is because the Pashtun average is comprised primarily from E Pashtun samples, and the sample from Kandahar sits on a cline between E Pashtuns and Makrani/Baloch

The reason Tajik is further down the list is that the samples are comprised of mostly Tajikstani Tajiks, but I would not be surprised if Kandhari Pashtuns are genetically more similar to Baloch than Afghan Tajiks, because of geography and history. Even going by looks, many Pashtuns from Quetta and Kandhar look Baloch

The Iran N scores have been manipulated by someone whether intentional or by mistake.

The correct scores are at Iran Neolithic K6

Looks like work of myanthropologies since only people from panjab scores are manipulated LMFAO good idea to lock them down this time.

• I don't buy these results, Bangladeshi Pakhtuns should be closer to other Afghans but instead we cluster with daalkhor south Asians! This is ****ing pathetic and the results are clearly being manipulated by the enemies of Bangladesh! Sher-e-Bangladesh Bengal Tiger talukdar saab should make a thread entitled "Iran Neolithic K6 watch" and expose these racist foools

lololol

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Closer to Balochis some maybe, but closer to punjabs and Makranis? No way in hell. Punjabis and makranis often score 20 distances from pashtuns, and there is no way a half pashtun is closer to a pashtun than a full pashtun is. Balochis are an Iranic people anyways, they're not Indics.

Also why does one of the pashtuns score 15% east asian? Thats awfully high. Im assuming that pashtun is possibly from one of the tribes that has assimilated turkics.

Pashtuns and Tajiks overlap way more than Pashtuns and Balochis do for that to possible.

Where do you see 15-20% for Afghans on that sheet? I clewrly see 4-9%. And the East Asian scores were altered by someone.

agreed, please make your own separate spreadsheet and put any score you think is right for any ethnic group. Your method is ground breaking and people will save hundreds of dollars by not taking DNA test.

Oh wow this is dramatically different than Myanthropologies Excel Spreadsheet.

The Afghan Tajiks and Afghan Pashtun show a solid 10% difference in Iranian substrate and Afghan Tajik shows more East Asian

But Strangely Turks are almost closer to Pashtuns than the Afghan Tajik sample. One Pashtun has quite a high East Asian marker, ~15%, while the rest are relatively low.

Myanthropologies this would be a good reason why these are not representative samples.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

N Iran scores were manipulated by someone but only for certain people. Rest is ok, you can check other spreadsheet as well.

afghan pashtun samples
Number 46, 7.06 ASE + 15.06East Asian=22.12%
Number 44, 7.88+5.13= 13.11%
Number 47, 6.87+8.30= 15.17%

What does east asian have to do with ASE though? I don't understand why you are grouping the two components when they aren't alike at all.

And only one of the Afghan pashtuns had 15% East Asian, the average has way less than that. That pashtun is likely at least partially from the tribe of assimilated turkics, just like there are a group of pashtuns in pakistan who are assimilated punjabis, which could also alter the results.

• Well putting genetics aside, tajiks are our brothers. And north indians and pakistanis are our cousins too, even if some Afghans would deny that. We do share great history with them.

Afghans are an intetesting people. We are related to Middle Easterners, Euopeans, and North South Asians.

That's a fair statement. Agreed, but let's be very careful how we represent genetics, it came off like you had some political motive, which isn't really necessary in my opinion. We don't need genetic charts to be kin with Tajiks or anyone else, Just an open mind and compassion.
