Actually, my uneducated tribal "priend", Herat was the first city in Afhganistan to rise against Russians. The whole city was carpet bombed. Go to Herat now and you won't see any destruction. Why? Because we Heratis don't have that tribal warmonger mentality of yours lol:

I only cited that to stress that it wasn't the alleged sophistication of Herat that lead to the development. This isn't a fault against Herat, only to stress that most of Afghanistan Pashtun or Tajik are pretty much on par.

When I went to rural Tajik parts I saw people towing farm animals, when I went to Pashtun parts I saw the same.
Pakistan and all our Pashtunist governments have always supported Pashtun areas over non Pashtuns. Still those areas remain least developed and dirty.

Not sophistication of Heratis but actually most of Persianspsakers. Herat, Kabul or Mazar are much ahead of Kandahar and Jalalabad. Why? Because they are trade centers. People care much more about improving their life quality and not about ethnic fascism like Pashtuns.

Honestly dude next time you fly to Afghanistan just look around and you will see how different Pashtun and Tajiks are. Last time I flew from Dubai to Kabul I think it was the worst experience of my life because of Pashtuns. I have never seen people more uneducated and dirty than tribal Pashtuns. Don't take this as a racist remark. Its a fact. Empirically verifiable.

Can you give specific examples of Pakistan funding major developmental or infrastructural projects in Afghanistan?

You sort of hand wave over a lot of things lately. I was in Herat last summer, .....other than the Iranian developments, what is this sophistication you talk about? .... I saw a whole ot of payrhan tombans and burqas in Herat. And please don't side step that by saying they were all Pashtuns.....that's a cop out.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

              No this is false,

It was Pashtun Communists that invited Russians to our country and while the Northern Alliance, which was predominantly Tajik, did pose as a convenient liason for the American invasion

It was a PASHTUN faces, in the form of Zalmay Khalilzad Hamid Karzai who represented U.S. Invasion.

You were in Herat? In which places?

Pyrhan tomon does not make you more or less sophisticated. This pretty BS. Every time I visite Herat I wear my pirhan tomon and my mandil. Herat has been chosen among all provinces of Afghanistan as the best one for several years. But now according Pashtuns its not our merit but from Iran lol.

Herat has the best carpets in Afghanistan, best dry fruits, it was one of the safest provinces in Afghanistan (except those districts inhabited by Pashtuns! lol), we are one of the main trade centers of Afghanistan. Unlike most of provinces we have 24/7 electricity, most of our roads are paved, streets are cleaned on a daily basis. Our province is almost opium free (except those places inhabited pashtuns, once again). Actually our saffron (which is originally from Iran I must say) has been chosen three years in a row as the best one in the world. Well.. now tell me which Pashtun province can be compared with Herat or Balkh. Its not just ethnicfascism its a matter of fact. Pashtuns are a trouble. They always have been.

BTW hilarious you asking about "development projects in Pashtun provinces". Dude every f*ckin government in Afghanistan has been pashtunist: Daud khan, Abdul Rahman khan, communists, Talibs,.. and even now Karzai and Ghani want to favor their Pashtun brothers.. thanks got they got their hands tied by those Tajik warlords. Otherwise Talibanism would be back to power once again.

Herat is a very backward city, infrastructure-wise. And its fcking dusty

Within the city I was in the Wilayat, Shahr-e-Naw, Sufi Abad and Nawabad, Outside the city. I was in Shindand, the Zawal and Poshti Koh areas, Adraskan, Kushki Kuhna and a few other locales I don't know the names of.

You're basically proving my point for me; most Pashtuns wear their own variation of payhran tomban, but Tajiks wore something similar , they just had different lungi, but most Tajiks I saw didn't wear a lungai. It's interesting that you mention electricty while it's true there is 24/hr electricty in Herat, it's from Neghboring countries. Not Herat. This is Iranian infrastructure in Herat. Not Herati infrastructure. Also It's often SO LOW Yield that shortages still happen anyways.

I'm not sure what Pashtun centric governments have to do with your earlier point. But you've basically just did what's called a BAIT AND SWITCH, which I don't appreciate.

The original point being contested was the degree to which PAKISTAN did Infrastructural Projects or Financing in Afghanistan. All of the Governments you mentioned had very Sour relations with Pakistan, so wouldn't make any sense for Pakistan to finance infrastructure projects for them.

So instead of side stepping care to show a specific example where Pakistan has funded Major Infrastructural projects in Afghanistan?

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Hahaha, come on, dude you are just naming few random places that you can be found on Wikipedia. Tell me a bit more about some specific places lol

Pakistan is the largest Muslim donor to Afghanistan. More than 500$ million have been invested in Afghanistan by Pakistan in the past few years. I guess most of it in Pashtun areas near to the Pakistani border (if you were an Iranian where would you invest in? In Herat or Kandahar? Same thing works for Pakistan). What about Balkh?

                        Embassy of Pakistan, Kabul

Every single Afghan government has benefit Pashtuns. Yet your provinces remain least developed and unable to change.

You still fail to understand that prison tomon does not make you more or less sophisticated. What makes Heratis or Persianspsakers more sophisticated than Pashtuns is our different role models: we take pride of our culture, our poets, our wisemen,.. and so on. Pashtuns take pride of their warmongerism and violent nature. This is an undeniable fact.

Its pretty obvious Iran proximity has been very positive for Herat. You guys got Pakistan near to you too.. why do you fail to develop a positive relationship like we have done with our neighbors? Balkh got a good relationship with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Herat got a good relationship with Turkmenistan and Iran. Why you Pashtuns can't put down your guns and do the same thing with your neighbor Pakistan??

Stop making **** up, the commies were perceived to be a Pashtun-dominated government by Tajik mujahideen. Pashtuns are not better at war, they lack the discipline and strategic foresight of Tajiks.

Tajiks from Tajikistan gallantly resisted the Soviets but did not receive help from any superpowers. The Pashtun Amanullah Khan even expelled Basmachi fighters from Afghanistan since he was cozying up to the Russians. Many great nations more accomplished than Pashtuns like Georgians, Armenians, Azeris, Chechens etc. also fell to the Soviets. Are you going to accuse Chechens of being cowardly, lol. You ****ing douche

Khalilzad recently introduced Donald Trump at his speech at a foreign policy think tank. Imagine if a Tajik did that, you idiots would be going nuts.

Wrong again looool. You are prone to bend over for whoever passes through. Thats why your region supersedes all others in transmitted venereal diseases like HCV and you have the vodka tonics all over the place. There are those that loooove being on their knees like you and those that leave the world standing even if their bodies are prostrate.

Eventually you people will face the same fate as the native tribes in the Americas... your names will be Tom, Tina, Steve etc. and your casinos will be the pride of central asia while your population dwindles into the abyss.
