If a secular country fights another secular or Islamist country then go for the reason whether it is for imposing secularism or other political or economic motives. If Germany and France , both secular, fight with each other, it cannot be for secularism as both are already secular but for other reasons. Islamic state fights for Islamism.

How about 'United States Of America' They fund them, give them weapons, make them fight and then call them barbaric terrorists. Double headed snake, last I checked they where secularists. Blood of innocent people all over the world over its hands.

The lack of Arabs can be explained with the rise of the Islamic State, which is close to the hearts of the Sunnis in the Middle East, unlike far flung Afghanistan. Another effect from Daesh is the drying up of Gulf based revenue streams to the Taliban, now being spent on killing Shiites, Alawites, Kurds.
Why would they be fed up with the paki government if ISIS in Afg is accused of being a Paki ISI trained ideology?

Taliban's relation with Pakistan goes way back to the Cold War, many of their leaders were mentored and trained by the ISI at one point. Col. Imam and Hamid Gul both played very important roles.

On the other hand, these new ISIS guys are fresh faced, 25 years old on average. They are a new generation of free, independent terrorist. That's what makes them extremely dangerous. It's more accurate to say their ideology is from the Arabs than from Pakistan.

Dude, these 'ISIS" wannabes are nothing more than former taliban members. They are like the bloods who once used to be crips.

It's ok Badlun, just recall what Secularists did in the 80's by abducting and torturing Afghan citizens 100 times more than these extremists are doing. they participated in the deaths of 1.5 Million Afghan Nationals

and then you'll realize why people prefer Islam to secularism.
