well it describes the Early New Persian of the 8th century ....which may in fact have been mutually intelligible but would the same degree of intelligibility hold true for 10th-11th century?

Well if their name is any indicator it seems they spoke a Middle Persian dialect. So it would make sense since Middle Persian is not mutually intelligible with Dari that was spoken at the Ghaznawids.

Persian--old, middle and Dari (new) are all classified as Western Iranian languages. While Ghoried were eastern Iranian who spoke Eastern Iranian languages; which in itself proves they were forefathers of modern Pashtons.

What i find strange is Farsiwaan taking all the credit for Avestian while Old Persian and Avestian were two distinct languages.

India really has no viable groups in Afghanistan that can serve its interests especially long term. As long as Pakistan exists, it is barred from having access to central Asia. This is the main reason the Brits created Pakistan and America is sustaining its existence.

I somewhat agree, creation of Pakistan has more to do as being pawn in region, a lap dog of west, especially when Nehru and congress were left leaning(soviet) in their approach and thinking. So a cancer was necessary to make the pot burn and region being dependent...Durand and Kashmir issue serve this purpose the best. On other hand, India does not need border to project her power. In fact ever since her independent India has utilized the soft power projection which has served her the best. This soft power projection has created tremendous goodwill among people and it’s not just Afghanistan but whole region.

Pakistan is very lucky to have partner like China, no doubt both are best friends. Next month mining in Thar will start, this was Pakistani dream for decades but only China made it possible! I will list many decades old dreams of Pakistanis which are finally being worked on thanks to China.

1.) Dream of Karachi-Lahore-Peshawar motorway, China is making this possible!

2.) Upgradtion of Karachi-Peshawar railway track, bringing modern trains and improving speed to 120/kmh from current 70/kmh. This $3.8 billion investment will change face of Pakistan railways.

3.) Gwader port will finally be completed and connected with China and Central Asia. This was 50 years old dream!

And many more.... Pakistan is like dinosaur, you cut one leg and it will become useless for China.

More a dog, at least that is what Pakistan been ever since its creation.
