A government is supposed to be for its people. The Pakistani government does not care about the average Pakistani. They just want power. And one of the ways they have managed to do this is by robbing the people of Afghanistan and KPK of resources meant for their development. They've created the Talibans so that they could have a hand in the political, social and economic situations in Afghanistan because a stable Afghanistan is detrimental to their power. And an enlightened Pakistani majority is detrimental to their power as well. Thus, the Pakistani curriculum is full of brainwashing, as can be vowed by my Pakistani friends here.

Nor would it have been distorted by the differing foreign policies of India and Pakistan during the Cold War. The United States and the Soviet Union might both have been friendly—or indifferent—to the new India. A united federation would not have been involved, as Pakistan became involved, with the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan nor would it have become so enmeshed in the American war on terrorism as Pakistan has been.
• The suffering caused by the secession of Bangladesh could have been avoided.
• The dispute over Kashmir would not have occurred, with all the attendant terrorism that has distorted life in India.
• A three-tiered India would have had at least the same industrialisation that has occurred and the areas that are now Pakistan and Bangladesh would have profited from it. It would have been a vast "free trade zone" with no equal in the world.
• It would have been a democratic republic, without military dictators. There would seem to be no reason why Muslim voters could not have exercised their franchise, just as they do in present-day India.
• This vast new India would have been a secular state, fulfilling the dream so often enunciated by Indian leaders both before and after 1947. Nehru's commitment to secularism can scarcely be doubted. To that must be added a reminder of Jinnah's speech on August 11, 1947: "You can belong to any religion or caste or creed—that has nothing to do with the business of the State. We are all citizens and equal citizens of one State." Would not he and Nehru—and a host of others—have said that for the Three-Tier India?

Where did i say isi is not involved in promoting khawarij groups?? If i had been blind i wouldnt ve started a whole new thread about assassination creed ...For every country an extremist group is introduced.In case of muslims...its khawarij groups...names or locations could be different but purpose is same.They are not serving islam whatsoever.But secularism is also as much promoted once a country is invaded by west.For those countries who deny submission to them...suffer from extreme groups installed by puppet regimes and govts...or are oppressed by puppet armies.This is happening mainly to muslim world.


I know history of pakistan and india bangladesh etc very well...how an old islamic empire of muslims is divided via help of secular hindu like gandhi and a secular ismaili jinnah.At certain point there was unity against brits...but then they were divided on religious lines...further ethnivity lines...till this day provinces are encouraged by media to demand a seperate state of their own...the more people are divided more easy access to west to occupy.

My problem comes here when people blindly accuse isi and army and people of pakistan but excuse their own nds,raw involvement and cia as well.At some point isi did try to dodge cia but soldouts are everywhere when it comes to money...same goes for other inteligensia.

And for your claim of ethnicity as dividing line...no its not a criteria for a true muslim atleast.There are and were states where various erhnicities lived togather...Even those secular states that wanna promote ethnicity dividing lines themselves have various ethnicities in tgeir homelands...because its serving them economy etc.Double standards.
