That is the problem, you are talking about secularism but first you have to define secularism, secularism of America, secularism of France, secularism of England, secularism of India, secularism of Afghanistan ? what type of secularism are you talking about ?
you are trying a very unacceptable system on Pashtuns. Its like you tell Belgium or Denmark to christianize their countries.
You want to paint all the world with the western borne system which is not acceptable to us. You want us to become like them.
No, it is not possible, we are we and they are they.
We will not and we don't want to become like them. We have our own identity and we want to live with it, we should improve ourselves and our society in our own system and limits. We should not import some western system.

I understand what you want to say but we should not adopt an imported system. We should make improvement in our system. Because majority of Pashtuns are Muslims and they want to be with Islamic system.

I think you don't understand, most Pashtuns you included are blinded by Islam, like Islam is answer to everything, like I said priviousy in my post, Pashtun can not come with a better solution than wanting Islamic Shariah and what not, and when it doesn't work out they go more extreme, and think that by taking everything literally from Quran will make Allah happy and will make their lives better. But it doesn't get better, becuase there is no growth or development if you follow Shariah and Islamic teaching of the 7th century to the core.

And when you offer modernisation you get labeled as kaffir and that it doesn't fit our way of life, ofcourse it doesn't fit our way of life, our way of life has brought us to be the most backward and underdeveloped nation in the world.

If it fitted in our way of life than you should really question if it is even desirable to do it. Modernisation is akward and goes most of the time against the contarary belives of the people, it also went against the way of lives of Westerners and East Asians and South Americans and also even Africans who try to embrace modern life.

People do not become modern over night, it is a process, but this process needs a start, Pashtun better hurry up and start it, otherwise catching up to the rest of the world will never happen. So you either choose to get modernised and slowly secularised or stay behing en be the doormath to other people. There is no other way.

And every country has its own modernist culture, not everyone will turn out to be like Europeans, You can be covered in Hijab, but be modern like in having your own carrier and be independent and free to make a choice about your own life, who you marry where you want to work where to live, expressing your opnion. This is modernisation and not dressing like a skank and partying all night becuase that is what most PAshtuns think when you talke about modernisation.

To become a nation that can contribute to the world in terms of science, literature and human development we PAshtuns really need to critically look at our culture and our way of life. We need to understand that how we lived for centuries is not possible to live the same in this century, most PAshtuns resisted technological development and education, the bigest example is the railroads and education for women. This led that an economic growth was not possible and even tough men were allowed to study it had no big effect becuase the goverment just could not create enough jobs. Afghanistan stayed behind and is now poor, being poor and weak set the doors open for the super powers to abuse our people.

If we finish Extremism we won't be slaves to the geo-political goals of Pakistan; and our people will be in a state of peace to progress.

We should create awareness about The hidden agenda based on munafiqat of pakistani establishment which is using our people.

The real pashtun culture is based on respect and equality.

At present west and pakistan both funding and training terrorists.
These extremists serve the interests of westreners and pakistan.
Pashtun region is like sandwich.
Pakistan wants to keep them under control in the name of islam to be used in kashmir,against india etc.
So extremist pashtun is good for pakistan.
West want violence in this region to control the main ruite of central asia and block China .
Pakistan and US fighting this war on pashtun soil .
All of the above we are good in blame game.We are good in critisizing eacother.We ARE SIMPLE and people can use us and dump us the next day.We serve the interests of others but never focus on our own issues.
We need to act and find a salution.

I dont know whether you know it or not but china is no friend of anyone be it pakistan or iran whatever.Today every empire is playing survival tk the fittest game using any ethnicity or religion for politicians or influential purposes...In beijing pashtuns are banned to live after an incident.

Similarly talking of equality...mostly pakistani (southern regions) , indians and chinese are racist...they promote or take their own relatives in jobs ...You wont see this pashtuns cept may be in some khattaks...Equality in the world is gone in trash.All i am saying pashtuns dont need to rely on others...Most importantly education and security.

There is a fine line of true islam and that of extremism.They need to be aware where to step back and where to proceed...Where not to be used as proxies.What mistakes pashtuns did in past shouldnt be repeated...Examples of kurds is right there.Iran is using them...turks are stopping them from migrating there..and west is pumping them for proxy war in ME.They are kinda stuck there...
I cant see this happen to pashtuns...and thanks Allah this time many of us are realising this but it still need to be on global level.

War is imminent no doubt...coz west cant wait more..its a time bomb thats clicking ,can explode anytime..neither are extremist proxies waiting... but our people should get education as much as possible during these years...roughly 5 yrs is there to progress...from what it appears.
