The problem is that in Punjab and sindh, the true message of Islam has not reached to the rural areas. Mostly peer faqeer and barelvi type people are in majority over there. The second biggest problem in punjab is that the people are not self thinkers, they believe what they are told. They are highly influenced by such people. They have a hindu mentality.

These people are mostly extremist (Sufis) gone crazy and like Jankhan has said, there are pagan/hindu elements mixed with the religion. Any religion/sect practiced at extreme without any sense will result in crazy behavior, doesn't matter if it Sufis like these or Salafi/Wahabhi extremist killing innocent people. The true message of Islam(ism) has reached Pashtuns and that is why we have Taliban and the extremist Deobandis and Wahabis which entails in this much bloodshed, degeneration, no development and living in stone era.

Punjab and Sindh(Urban) has peace and development because they do not have the kind of religion Pashtun have. If Deobandis Tableghis, Jamate islami, Ahle Hadith, Wahabis, Salafis and Panjpeeris reach there, they will also have the same what Pashtunland have. Sufis or Brelvis are not crazy. Music or dance is a human urge and as Wahabis completely ban such activities, Sufis find solace in some religious dances and music. I love Sufi and Brelvis practices which have elements of dance and music. It is more interesting than the dry religion of Wahabis where every thing is shirk.

Religion cannot be followed logically because religion is based on revelation, prophet-hood, beliefs in unseen, metaphysical concepts etc which have nothing to do with logic or reason. Although heart has a reason which reason cannot understand.

ANP and their leadership are neither deobandis nor wahabis but secular class, mostly so called educated, then why they became prey of ISI ?
Even though they knew that this game is being played by ISI, both the parties are ISI funded and run then why they became stooges of ISI ?
If you think they did a big thing by operating in swat ? but can you tell me what good did they achieve being a pashtun leading party ?
Do you know how many workers of ANP have been killed in swat, buner after the operation and still are being killed. ANP and everyone knows who kills them. But they don't say a single word against their enemy. How many pashtun people have been humiliated and are being humiliated. There is more isi punjabi propaganda in swat than before.
Why then ANP chose to be the right hand of ISI and to help them in flourishing and accomplishing their dirty game which is still continuing and why is ANP silent like some coward secularists.
