Dostum has killed more pashtuns than any other warlord.Originally posted by Al-Afghani View PostIt's funny you think Uzbeks are friends with Pashtuns now. Dostum is well known for his treachery. If the SHTF, he will form the Northern Alliance against the Pashtuns, as TajiksUzbeksHazaras jointly did before.
Remember, it was Dostum who betrayed Najibullah.
I find it damn hilarious how this people are ready to sell themselves out to Pakistan or Dostum just to get some power. Be hin megam watanforoushi lol

I don't even think it is bout being a shameless monkey... half of Afghanistan is made of thieves waiting at the opportunity to loot. If there is civil unrest imagine all the malls and banks you can loot.Originally posted by Khostai View PostYou do realise that they are tearing the photo of a man who held his hand above them for the past 13 years and helped them to get in power, it not about insulting or critisising its about showing your true nature and that nature of disloyal dog.
Being modern has nothing to do with acting like a bunch of shamless monkey, they can insult Karzai all they want make fun of him I don't care, but acting like a brainless monkeys who also destroys ordinary peoples property is just bad.
I like Karzai, the man is a one of the best politicians we have ever had.

All the signs are pointing towards a coalition government. Will this work, because even if it is a coalition government who will be the "president?"
We know that all directions will come from Washington, but who will they talk to, you can't have two leaders?
Abdullah's team is suggesting to base the coalition government on the first round of votes.
It seems like we have turned the clock back 22 years when every single Mujahiddin faction had to hold on to something.
It is a shame that these warlords believe that because they fought and defeated the Soviets that now leadership is their right.
These people want leadership at all costs, even murder and war; and, even if in the end there is no one left in Afghanistan for them to rule. It seems like they are fine with roaming the Presidential Palace on their own and calling that ruling Afghanistan.
I guess they like to walk around in their boxers and need full privacy.
Ya arg, ya marg!

I think that Dr Ghani should walk away from this contest with dignity while he is ahead. He is an educated man. He should not fight for power. He should let the others fight for it. If he stays in this struggle, they will make a jahil out of him. It would be a waste of his years of education.Originally posted by dehqaanherawi View PostLets face the fact that Afghanistan is dead. Even if Dr Ghani walks away, there are still many Pashtun who will be ready to fill in the void. The Abdullah camp have a lot of Pashtun, including Abdullah himself.
Ashraf Ghani has lost this battle. If he becomes the President, the country will be flipped upside down.Last edited by Tamim; 07-10-2014, 10:14 PM.

Though it is dignified to step down, but this Ghani vs. Abdullah thing at point seems like a game of exhaustion. If there was a way to exhaust Abdullah and his supporters that would be wonderful... other wise I really don't know.
Stepping down is also washing your hands from responsibility just as much as it may be said to be dignified. I guess this will be the ultimate test for Ghani as a politician.

Ghani has no power; he is powerless. Thus, vindicating him from any responsibility.Originally posted by IcancryifIwantto View PostThough it is dignified to step down, but this Ghani vs. Abdullah thing at point seems like a game of exhaustion. The only responsibility he has is to make sure Afghanistan does not turn into another bloodbath. If he can step down to ensure that another bloodbath won't happen, then I think he would have fulfilled his responsibility.
The slogan that Dr Abdullah is raising is practically "ya arg, ya marg." How can you contest that without a bloodbath?

Come on, dude. Please, stop it. Mr Ghani joined Dostum, Kayyan, Hamdard and Ismael Yoon. He is also a merciless power-thirsty donkey (just like Abdullah). I don't give a care about his PhD and his years in that terrorist organization known as "World Bank". By committing fraud and joining warlords he has exposed himself. He is not much different than any other afghan politician.Originally posted by Tamim View PostI think that Dr Ghani should walk away from this contest with dignity while he is ahead. The Abdullah team think that if they can win sole power, that then it will put Afghanistan into better hands and then they will get to work for the betterment of Afghanistan.
They might be able to, however, they are setting a precedent that will haunt them. It might even bring an all out Tajik war. Who knows. Any guess is possible now.

The only people who want power are the warlords. They have influence. So, the way the democratic process works is that you need to have a majority. So, naturally, you will need to get all the influential people on your side.Originally posted by dehqaanherawi View PostCome on, dude. Please, stop it. Dr Ghani made a big mistake by wanting to run for power. To be honest, I don't like his style. However, I am appealing to his education to force him to step down, and not fight for power in order to maintain stability. He should ignore whoever is pushing him.

You have a valid point.... but in bloodbaths leaders don't die, ordinary civilians and supporters do. What is the guarantee that if Ghani steps down his supporters would not be upset by the gesture and have confrontations with Abdullahs supporters? how would that ensure that a bloodbath would not happen?Originally posted by Tamim View PostGhani has no power; he is powerless.
