That would make sense, however all victims are Pashtuns themselves. This is more like a child stamping his feet in anger.

Taliban was funded, sponsored, recognized, and supported by Pak Army/ISI, so if you dislike the Taliban, then yes the Pak Army is the major problem. A bunch of mullahs are just the product of Pak Army mentoring, and zombies gone bad. It just happens so that its creation has gone sour, and all of a sudden realized the harami acts of the army.

Claiming that the Taliban is bad, while supporting Pakistan's Army, is a psychological disease; either condemn both, or you are complicit in the death of innocent Pashtuns.

The Pakistani army is clearly killing Pashtuns above without any evidence, unless you want to be delusional, and start proclaiming that the above videos are made by RAW, or the folks in the interview are Indians who learned of Pashto, etc. In fact, one of the reasons why Pakistan is such a backwards nation, and why most people western, civilized, nations view their citizens as terrorists, is because the citizens(not all)are brain-washed at a very young age. I suppose that's why most folks convicted of terrorism in the west almost always have an association with Pakistan. A good international example is Faisal Shahzad, whose dad was part of the Pakistan Army; I guess he learned about the terrorism tips from his father.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Taliban or talibeen were founded by Mullah Omar of Kandahar. If Pakistan gave him support, it doesn't mean that Pakistan created this ideology..

Most Afghans were tired of the massacres of Dostum, and sick of the Panjasheri domination. Pakistan hedged their bets with the Pashtuns. If Pakistan is so evil, why do you find Afghans that agree with this viewpoint? Our lobby for Afghans itself comes from Pashtuns of KPK and tribal areas.....

Na na sir,PA/ISI funded the mujahideen movement not taliban along with support from CIA and Gulf countries.and even though if it had funded them than as like the other world armies, the pakistan armies has funded the movments to secure Pakistan future,Think about it from a patriotism and national duty side

Pakistan army like most of the world armies might indeed has the sects involved in human rights violation

The army of the super power,German armed forces,Indian armed forces,Afghansitan national army(Even though only a decade older),British armed forces or almost 90% of the world armed forces by some means were involved in human rights abuses and the long list also include Pakistan army

The US government has always been the first to call out other nations with poor track records on human rights abuses. Invariably they are the two nations viewed most threatening to America’s global hegemony and power – rivals Russia and China. Other loudly criticized countries are those less powerful Third World nations that most defy …

ofcourse it doesn't mean i justify the killing of pashtuns or anyone from pakistan being killed by the army but comparing them with taliban is simply wrong. In worst case scenerio not more than 500 Pashtuns have died at the hands of Pakistan army compared to atleast 40k by talibans.

And sorry,I would not call Pakistan a backward nation, ofcourse pakistan is part of failed state index since 2007 and won't be anymore in the coming 2-3years but the biggest factors to the contribution are IDP's and Refugees apart from Terrorist activities but you do know all the factors are giving a extreme decrease in Pakistan terrorism activities.

One way or another way,Pakistan already has replaced many european countries in Gross GDP and will likely to surpass many of them in research output by the end of this decade.

A Country formed n 1947 with a defunct cement factory and a univeristy with only basics department making it to among the top Economies in the world,Among the highest research output countries with a robust Military and one of the major industry power by 2047 is not a failure at all.we still are into nation building and such hardships are part of every nation.

Don't make a clown out of yourself by saying a villager in Arghandab, Afghanistan, took over an entire nation by himself. He was again, funded, supported, recognize, and armed by Pakistan -- by all definition, and many Pakistanis agree, that it was their creation. Which is why when the bombings began, we saw the Kunduz Airlift.

You can dance around the "We just hedged our bets on him", but that doesn't take away from the obvious, or justify the killing of Pashtuns at the hands of some fat-belly folks in Pindi. There are hundreds of interviews of Taliban folks saying they turned sour with Pakistan after they realized that on one hand they are lovey-dovey with us, but on the contrary they tell the US they are hunting us. The fact is, the Pakistanis didn't think their stooges would catch on, especially when in Kandahar, during their regime, "Televisions" were banned(so no source of education for the populace), and having a cell-phone with a graphical user interface, meant that you are supporting devils, etc.

Don't justify nonsense Pakwatan, deep down inside you know the truth.

So you agree that the Pakistani Army is involved the bloodshed of Pashtuns, that's a progress, although you try to justify it by proclaiming that others do it too. Just because they all do it, doesn't mean that it's right. I suppose you've never visited an advanced, developed nation like those in Europe, or in North America, so my understanding is that your delusional with your obsession with Pakistan, and you think somehow you are doing 'well'; frankly, I don't care about that, I'm only concerned with my people, and as of now, they are getting butchered at the hands of the Pakistani Army. You can spend all day, and night, on ISPR, to find yourself some 'feel good' news, like "yes, the Fauj is good", but I'm sure if your brother, or father, was one of those being killed in that video in my previous post, your taste would've been different. As of now, because you are being educated in Pakistan, you feel a need to defend all its institutions blindly.

In Pakistan, the rich are getting richer, and corruption is just a vibrant as it was in its founding; there is still a very high possibility you can have your ears cut off by just speaking Pashto in Karachi, or better yet dying from target-killing. You are making a fool out of yourself if you think the Pakistani Army, and ISI did not support/fund the Taliban, look up the Kunduz forklift. Pakistan and India are both known internationally as a major export of IT -- However, India for Information Technology, and Pakistan for International Terrorism. You're excuses are no different than the Israeli excuses for their terror reign on the Palestinians. Brotherly advice, that I learned from my Pakistani friends, if you ever visit a western country, don't say you're from Pakistan -- mention India instead.

Ah,even though you know Pakistan being a developing country is bound to be having the above mentioned problems and by no mean can be compared with a developed countries of the west.Infact Pakistan or even india might not become a developed state in this century(Don't know about Pakistan but India is suppose to become a developed state by 2070-80).

A developed country is not only based off just economy and per capita factors but less corruption, freedom of life, higher etc.

So comparing them with Pakistan or even china/India is not fair.

I beg to differ as the facts support my claim and not yours,

Pakistan might be supporting talibans or might be not,You do know the ISI or PA are bound to work only in pakistan interest as this is the reason they are formed of.

well indeed terrorism has disturbed the pakistan image but please look at the history of Sri lanka 1-2 decades before and today and the image of sri lanka. They were worst hit by terrorism like us.So these factors change's with the passage of time. What matters is that we successfully has defeated the major terrorist org with the recent operation as either they are killed or have fled the region.in short TTP has collapsed. So these factors like terrorism image will change in a matter of decade

You might call me optimistic but it is the karachi stock exchange within the hub of target killers putting off a return of 41% to be called 5th best in the world and Pakistan among the few countries witnessing a growth rate of 18%+ with a slight improvement in power sector and decrease in terrorist activities.Imagine the potential than.I don't even consider countries like iran,Malaysia,KSA,bangladesh, netherland, belgium,au stria, switzerland, south korea as long term competitors to Pakistan beyond 2030.

Thanks for the advice though i have my family members living in USA including my brothers and i might also leave within 3-4years and believe me they have never told me of any such adventure happening with them for mentioning being Pakistani.

Abus-Salaam Zaeef, in his autobio, My Life.... documents clearly much the same. He describes his tenure as a young man in Quetta who was earnest, poor, and an orphan in the real sense of the world receiving the training and munitions from the Pakistani Army.

He describes meetings with Abdul Ahad Karzai once the leadership shura took Kandahar (meaning that even those guys had their hand in the pot)

His text provides the oddyssey and realization to the conclusion that in his own words, Pakistan's establishment is the many headed snake that shows the face it wants to show at the moment it wants to.

He goes on to talk about the many loving ordinary people he encountered on his travels there, but made it clear that the jig was up when it came to that establishment that is now destroying the last remaining untouched areas of Pashtun tribal life.

Are you related to those Marwat physicians here in the states? There are two brothers whose names I wont mention for privacy, but I met them at a conference - they went to Aga Khan and their sister is here as well. They are all friends with the family of the now late Fida Yunus.

A developed country is not only based off just economy and per capita factors but less corruption, freedom of life, higher etc.

So comparing them with Pakistan or even china/India is not fair.

I beg to differ as the facts support my claim and not yours,
Pakistan Income inequality is far better than neighbouring countries like india

The bolded sentence is the only sentence I want to high light because it is the one that is the most pertinent and the one worth discussing.

So I agree, an intelligence organization, leader, or army should work in the interests of the nation and its survival. No one denies this.

Our issue is that there are multiple identities people have and they decide what is most important. Some of these are:

National (i.e. what country you belong to)
                              Religious
                              SupraEthnic
                              SubEthnic
                              Tribe
                              Clan
                              Family
                              Linguistic

The issue I have with the bolded part is that if it were true that these organizations were working for the betterment of ALL Pakistanis and in the defense and dignity of ALL Pakistanis equally and based on on whatever plausible moral paradigm Pakistan is constructed upon, then I would have no qualm. That is, based on the above identities, they would make the nationalist agenda for all their supreme cause.

The issue here with pakistan, rather, is that one region, one particular group, and one echelon of society sets the tone for what that national security interest is.

Using a country that generally watches out for its interests, for instance, the Americans, they hold democratic capitalism and sanctity of the constitution above all else (theoretically).

If the CIA et al for a moment thought that they were fighting to erect or create or sustain the exact opposite of that you would have patriots (like Michael Scheuer) resigning and speaking out against this pursuit.

The problem is that the nature, mission, basis for creation and reason for existing behind the Pakistani federation as supposedly espoused by its founders has been brushed aside under the context simply of "survival."

So this is an endless illogic loop then because if Pakistan's founding reason de etre is not what is pursued, then it is useless to argue for that federation needing to still exist.

If it is truly the guise of national security, then every aspect of why that insecurity occurred has to be examined, and the evidence shows that they had their own hand in creating the insecurity.

So for that reason, I would limit/edit your sentence to saying the following:

Pakistan might be supporting the Taliban or it might not, you do know that the ISI or PA is bound to work not in the interest of every Pakistani but in the interests of Pakistan's corrupt and overweight ethnocentric oligarch fascists and their local lackeys ... even if it means displacing, killing, and massacering two of the major ethnic groups that compose the federation
