If i am not wrong last month a news mentioned that terrorist activities in Pakistan has seen more than 500% decrease uptill april when compared with 2013 and even more when compared with the past.

I google and found out these 2 source's which indeed mention decrease terrorist activities in Pakistan and the death toll this year is way too small when compared with the past

    In 2013

    in 2014

TTP had enjoyed greater strength upto 2011 but since 2011,their strength is on decreasing order and today is at the historic low since there creation in 2007.Don't be surprised if by 2016 no one knows what TTP used to be

The Taliban attacks and blasts in last three months have decreased or halted due to cease fire from their side and peace talks. Your claim, that TTP will be finished by 2016, is based on wrong assumption that paki army has crushed TTP in the last three months. You are reading the signs wrong.
You cant predict any thing for certain, hafiz gul bahadur is most likely to break treaty with army and join hands with TTP. There are numerous other factor you should take into account before making a bold claim. TTP is no longer into territorial conquests since 2009, it makes them lot difficult to defeat.

Not really because Cease fire was only from Ist Feb to the later revised date of 10th march.

The reason behind is alot of arrests,More punch given to FC and other related security force's.More security overall in KPK.infact last week it took me almost 2hrs to get pass through Kohat tunnel security checkposts

Other most important factor is that Pakistan is now chasing TTP even in Afghanistan through intelligence source's and also more security on Pak-Afghan border.

The Security force's has also requested the Govt to fund the fence of Pak Afghan border. It will certainly start from fencing the bajaur region

And lanat on their mothers for raising them like that.
Interesting to see you "Smarty" (i.e. Luffy a.k.a History of Pashtuns) get very defensive about the Pakistan army killing Baloch in Balochistan, the same Pakistan army whose deaths you cheered last year Luffy.

Balochs are not my Kin, Pashtuns of Waziristan are. I still grieve the losses of Waziristan people and i still have anger for Pak army because of that......But, now i think about it, zarb-e-azab has brought great degree of peace to the region, i think it was for the better.......i hope zarb-e-azab is fruitful like this in future and sacrifices and losses of Waziristan doesnt go to waste. ....and Bengali, you dont know the harsh ground realities, i skipped it back then on purpose. People of Bannu , Lakki Marwat and rest of Pakhtunkhwa were cruel and merciless to IDPs, no kindness.......IDPs were kind of looted, people didnt accommodated them for free in their houses, extra than normal rent was taken from them..... Tribal enmities and rivalries are deep-rooted in my belt. Why Punjab and Pak army should be my enemy, Pashtuns themselves are enemy of each other , they wont stand and rise for themselves.....

Not to start another debate. But if you will do a little research on the issue the pictures displayed in the top post can be found in back dates on the internet.

you are too early to judge it. peace today we see is temporary. we don't see any geo-political change in FATA, not a single hardcore terrorist was killed. there was no need to bomb and dynamite the whole miranshah but our punjabi master are so mast in power nasha and they did what is considered as a revenge from tribal for giving bad taliban sanctuaries. now what makes you think these IDP who lost everything and were humiliated will have no thirst for revenge. waziristan is a dead end, cleaver people know that, smart are going to try it.

some people helped them within their personal capacity, other just follow the free market principal. i feel ashamed and curse my people. but no worries our days are numbered, we will surely understand the plight of IDP when will share their fate.

                    American-made junk.

                    American-made F-16s as well as Chinese-Pakistani JF-17.

PAF's fighter aircraft, notably F-16 and JF-17, flown by the members of SSW's 4th SOS Squadron, heavily bombed the area

Go to section called "Ground offensive" and then line 6.

Lets wait and see, personally i think back-bone of people of waziristan is broken , due to destruction of their properties and economy.....they can bear life losses but not economic collapse. I think flattening of their houses was intentional, thats what British used to do to subdue a tribe for a decade or two, it used to work like magic and will have similar impact here. The life of tents was first time experience for them in their entire history, it will have crippling effect on their pride and ego. Revenge is out of question, at least for some years.

All the tribes of Pashtuns particularly those of FATA should be realizing by now that each tribe or clan is nothing by itself, only if they act as one unit then they will be feared and will not be taken as granted. Pain of one tribe should radiate to all the other tribes, otherwise it is not a fcking qaum/nation.......Our weaknesses were fully exposed when Sikhs entered into this region and fully exploited it, in 200 years tribes are basically in same state while rest of the nations in the world have made tremendous progress....its actually very easy to deal with pashtuns, we are very easy to read and are predictable,.........all the great Pashtun leaders in the history were atypical ones, different from rest of the crowd....life histories of Bahlul, Sher shah, Ahmad Shah etc are testimony to that......all of them had cunning beside courage, brain beside brawn. The point is our nation is "barren" and stuck in a cycle and a particular mindset, thats why we are getting fcked over and over again.....and lamenting over it is useless in this short life span. I can only pray and do best wishes

Those IDP's from Waziristan got better treatment in Afghanistan then they ever did in KPK. Sad how Pashtuns in the same country don't even look out for each other. Our egos and indulged pride will be our downfall if our people don't clean up their acts.
