Pashtuns made 2 mistakes, which is entirely their own fault:
- waging jihad against TajiksUzbeksHazaras. They had no more friends inside Afghanistan

Where is your source of the so called ban. just because the vast majority of fighters were rural Pashtuns and did not know how to speak farsi does not mean it was banned.
