Yes and Ghani stated to end the power of warlords and will start a comité that will investigate the corruption cases, this means that sherzai will end in jail and the other will not earn any money.

In what kind of world are you living??? I guess not on this earth. Mr Ghani´s team is made up of warlords and war criminals. Why Mr. Ghani is better than Mr. Zalmai Rasoul or Mr. Abdullah? Mr. Ghani is depending from Dostum and Royesh/Danesh and not vice versa. Birlik Turkistanis and Unay Hazaristanis are using Ghani for their own interests. How can Mr. Ghani keep Dostum in check? Dostum will kill him 10 times. Even Mr. Ghani´s Hizb Islami forces who joined him because of ethnic reasons can not rescue him. Wake up from your sleep. Its true that Ghani teamed up with Dostum just for uzbek votes but i wouldn't say he's relying on him. Dosutm maybe a warlord but he's a smart one, i believe he has something up his sleeves for the next round.

How should he have gone about it then? This is Afghanistan we're talking about and unfortunately, like it or not, the warlords and the ethnicized politics is what the country is currently about. Ghani's use of Dostum is just realpolitik/pragmatism and with him, there is at least a remote chance of a political solution with the Taliban. On the other hand, I think most people here know very well what the most likely outcome after Abdullah is going to involve. Ghani is the best of the current options.
