It is a not true. India is an enemy of the islamic world, enemy of Afghanistan. In the war-time of Taliban and gangsters of North alliance the Indian government gave help and support to the gangsters of North alliance.Originally posted by Elixir View PostISI propaganda. India wants a stable Afghanistan more than any other nation because a stable Afghanistan keeps Pakistan in check.

Every country wants stability in Afghanistan, they just want their friends in power and the country stable so they can reap the benefits of the relationship. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Throughout history forces/powers issuing out of Afghanistan have raided Hindustan seasonally crossing the Hindu Kush (meaning, kill Hindus). And Afghan rulers have often come down to the Indus valley and beyond to conquer or to defend Hindustani Muslims, the last one being the 3rd Battle of Panipath (1761). Afghan rule extended up to Bengal under the Suri dynasty. Therefore, the rulers of Delhi, basically a power base of Brahmins/rising Hindu nationalists, would be watching the Afghans carefully.carefully. History repeats itself - that is the lesson of history.

they want to cause chaos for NATO but not when their allies are in power in the government. nations support one side against another because they believe that one group can realize their interests against another group which is supported by another government. the ultimate goal being that their guys take power and fully realize and cooperate with the foreign power that financed them.
pakistan wanted a paki friendly government to serve as their strategic depth against india, which was not possible if there was war in the country. iran wasn't as heavily invested in the country as pakistan because it was as strategically important to them but they still wanted an iran friendly government to serve as a buffer to the countries which had US bases, again not possible if there was civil war and chaos in the country.
these alliances are usually based on history, commonalities such as religion/ethnicity, or just plain old suit cases full of cash. it is usually a mix of all of these.Last edited by randolph85; 05-10-2014, 03:46 AM.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power.
