Abdullah also claimed he has strong support in the remaining 8 provinces.

He was spokesman for northren allaince.
Dostum has the gutts and he apologised for his crimes.
While the criminals allaince continue their activities.
Ghani is the last hope for peacefull,stable and economically strong afghanistan.
The afghans already had a bad experience with northren allaince.
I think someone is playing a big game here.
Pashtun vote was divided.
Abdullah ,s influence is limited to one part of the country and he could,nt reach to the pashtun south.
His northren allaince fought talibs for years so he may not reach for peace with talibs.
Pakistan and iran will once again start their ethnic game in afghanistan.
Afghanistan need nutral person and Ghani was a better choice among others.
Lets hope for peace even if abdullah win.
In war only poor people suffer.Any war in afghanistan will suffer pashtuns more then others.

In democratic system whoever win has the right to form the govt.

It is not about boder disputes,Even with Border dispute with Pakistan has already acknowledged that not only in this century but for the next couple of centuries,Afghanistan still won't have the capability to annex any part of Pakistan.

Pakistan in the past wanted a strategic depth but as now even American writers has acknowledged that Pakistan strategic depth are its nukes,if required even threatening can stop any war at any point and Pakistan,india are running toward a transformation of understanding where both the countries has realized that even short battles will end up affecting their long term economic plans.This is the reason india has proposed,I repeat india not Pakistan has proposed to convert LOC into International border,Still Pakistan is the only one struck with claiming 100% kashmir

So Pakistan today is also not worried about any foriegn force in afghanistan since now Pakistan is seriously considering fencing the border once for all.

Pakistan also doesnt want to merge any part of afghanistan into it,Since if ever a merger of Pakistan and Afghanistan happened.Punjabis and the rest of pakistanis will form a new country for themselves forcing kpk,fata and southern balochistan to seperate from Pakistan.

Iran has alot of plans,They need a ground to play their proxy in..

Iran has his own secret agenda in afghanistan. Iran has spent millions in Afghanistan specially in Herat. Their aim is to reach Central Asia through west/north afghanistan and connect with China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. But at least they don't support militias in afghanistan unlike Pakistan and they are not that bad neighbor. I must say my main complain on iran is how they treat afghan refugees in there. Pakistanis have treated much better afghans than iranians.

Sorry,But i don't agree with you.The fact is that Pakistan never ever had plan to annex any part of Afghanistan Because Pakistan or in short the punjabis doesnt want to see the afghan pashtun to be part of Pakistan..And beleive me if it ever happen,The punjabis will kick out the pashtun region from Pakistan.

Pakistan annexed afghanistan from 1996 to 2001. We became de facto pakistans fifth province. Don't get me wrong. I think you are a nice guy and you are being honest but never ask an afghan to trust pakistan. We have suffered a lot because of your country and will never forget it.

Iran is not our enemy. They have their own interest in our country but I must say that Iran despite they are always looking down on us they have helped a lot afghanistan and actually they still doing. We know very well who talibans are and were their headquarters are. Shura Quetta, Haqqani, Hekmatyar,.. all of them are pakistani proxies.
