is it a permanant tattoo, smartass?? what are itazkira/identity cards for?? whatever happened to computerized tazkiras?? can they not afford to place a few computers to elect the next president for the ****ing country??Originally posted by khushal View Postthey put ink on their fingers not because they are illiterate you buffoon, they do it so they can be recognized as a person that has already voted to prevent them from voting twice.

^^Tattoos are made by injecting the ink into the dermis, which is the second, deeper layer of skin. Dermis cells are very stable, so the tattoo is practically permanent. The ink on the fingers are over the skin and the skin sheds with the ink on it.
The ink is the best and cheapest way to prevent people from voting twice. Computerized tazkaras wont work since it would take a long time to find out who voted twice and people can claim that the computer has made an error.
America has a very primitive voting system, people vote twice or more all the time here.Last edited by khushal; 04-08-2014, 01:03 PM.
