Dude are you kidding me? This ain't videogames and movies. If it were that simple both FARC and Afghan fighters would have totally cleared the skies of American and Russian helicopters. A 'Black Hawk Down' every sortie. But that's not the case.

I wasn't saying that buying aircraft (or anything) for the ANSF is a good thing or a bad thing, just tried to educate you on the reasoning behind the specific choice.

Of course they do. There is also alien in area 51.

Not really,Unless ofcourse your using dumb bombs.

A fighter aircraft irrespective of his speed with a targetting pod will be far more accurate than Close air support fighter slike tocano or K-8.

Less expensive to operate i agree,But they are now replaced by UCAV's.

UCAV's cost almost similar and are extremely cheap to operate.

No, I know you were being sarcastic, but I was not being sarcastic.

American-Israeli lobby has perhaps the most extensive hold on the US economy and government.

Consider that the new head of the US Federal reserve is a dual American/Israeli citizen, and previously served as the head of Israel's bank. The Fed chairman makes all the US/EU financial decisions such as hiking up interest rates and all other fanfare associated with the finance/credit system.

The head of China and Russia's bank does not hold a additional Israeli citizenship. In fact, I think this is the lone exception, and there is no historical precedence.

We are overrating Israel influence in the world. They do have their share in USA, but not to the extend everyone believes. The fact is Israel have no interest in Afghanistan. If my memory is correct, then Israel don't even have Afghanistan in their hostile country list.

EU is very skeptical of Israel and very neutral in the conflict. So they don't have any foothold in European countries.

Black Hawks have been shot down alot, normally they are not at the for front of a fight. That´s what attack helicopters are designed for.

Apaches or even the Russian Kamov are two seat, advanced and capable helicopters with guided missiles and more importantly with night vision, infrared sensors. They can locate a target from a long distance. That´s why their guided missiles hit the enemy but the enemy doesn´t hit them.

The Super Tocanos are a relict of WWII and the Korean War.
Flying close air support for ground troops makes them super vulnerable and they don´t have all the fancy technology an attack helicopter has.
              The only constant is change.

I didnt say Israel has any interest in Afghanistan.

EU is skeptical of Israel? Then why is British PM Cameron in Israel today, addressing the Israeli parliament, and promising to ensure Israel's security?

Then what the point of brining it up?

Because they don't want to bomb them... We must keep in mind that being skeptical doesn't mean war. Many people in Europe is pro-Palestinian, but that doesn't necessary mean they want them wiped out from the face of the earth.

Even more importantly why should we concern ourselves with Israel to begin with?...

                    Dear MostafaM,

First of all, let me remind you that the United States has not failed in its mission in Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a much better place for everyone to live now then it was during the Taliban regime. With the help of the United States, and international community; Afghanistan has a well-equipped Army, Police Force, flourishing economy and education system. Above all, a democratic government! How do you see these accomplishments as a failure?
Second, let me point out that you have answered your own question about Super Taocano aircraft. Since Afghanistan is full of valleys and a mountainous country, Super Taocano aircraft would best fit those terrain and would be easier to operate for Afghan National Security forces to accomplish their missions.
When Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, Afghanistan already had a government in place with proper infrastructure. However, when the United States along with the international community went to Afghanistan to hunt the perpetrators of September11, 2001 attacks, Afghanistan was in a complete chaos and ruins.

                    Respectfully,

                    Hashmat

Hasmat, because in the end despite all that, it's all just a paper charade. It only looks good on paper but in reality, the Afghan National Army is incompetent. The "Democratic" government is headed by former criminal groups who control various fiefdoms in Afghanistan and the Taliban are still a strong and active force that have influence and sway in most of Southern Afghanistan.

everything a successful mission SHOULD NOT have.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
