Ok so KPK Gas Production wise contribute 7% to Pakistan Total Gas production But the reserves existing are extremely low.

Both risked and recoverable are only 2-3% of Pakistan.

And Don't be emotionally get fooled with KPK having Trillion dollars reserves since facts prove it wrong

I am not sure about PAshtunistan region on Afghanistan side But on Pakistan side except some parts of FATA.The region is completely extremely less resourceful.




MOL Production is only 64mmcfd.Which is responsible for karak/KPK gas fields.

Natural Gas reserves of Pakistan in Total

Of which Sindh contribution is 55%,35% of Balochistan while 20% for Both Punjab and KPK.

Recently The EIA has upgraded Pakistan Natural Gas reserves by a 220% Increase making Pakistan 17 Country by Natural Gas reserves.

While in Shale Gas reserves Pakistan ranks 12th in the world

Sorry But Pashtun land on Pakistan hardly has any significant reserves neither has a fertile land similar to Punjab or Southern Sindh.

The only Region in KPK with complete fertile lands are bannu,DIK,(Originally saraiki people),haripur(HIndowan region)

1-Karak Gas field has Total risked reserves of 1.1TCF while recoverable stands at 0.95tcf to last for only the next 16 years or 14 years.Initially it was not considered to even extract them since anything below 1tcf is not commercially viable to extract for poor countries like Pakistan which rely on foriegn imported technology to extract them But after the discovery of Oil in ghoriwal and surdag the MOL also considered extracting them

Now compare this with balochistan 12tcf sui reserves or Zin block 23-24Tcf reserves.

COmpare this with Punjab toot gas field reserves of 9tcf and Sindh recoverable TCF reserves stand at 64tcf.

Gas reserves in KPK are hardly 2-3% of Total Pakistan Gas reserves discovered in Non pashtun regions.

Punjab Agri culture output is 68% of Total Pakistan and Agriculture accounts for more than 40% of Pakistan GDP or more than 100Billion dollars.

Sindh has 184Billion tons of Coal reserves and Only 2nd to USA and India in the world.

Mianwali was extremely rich in Gas and oil reserves but KPK ******* ANP didnt even cared to bring it back under the umbrella of Bannu district.

The mari gas field reserves are upgraded to 3tcf recently and 7k Barrel oil is extracted per day of total 41k extract through Pakistan.

The only Pashtun Dominated region rich with resources is FATA

Those claims of Marble and all such small reserves indeed exist but they don't even contribute in total 1billion dollars.

KPK revenue is hell alot of small.In near future Balochsitan with 3time less population will leave us behind in revenue.

For the best of KPK is to merge FATA withitself Which is rich in Oil/Gas aswell as rich in very high quality coal reserves(Comparable or even better coal reserves than chakwal)

The Coal quality of Chakwal is comparable to indonesian but the reserves are small.

While my friend aswell as neighbour of banusi tribe is also in PMA but he's from the later batches.

When I was keep reading this thread yesterday around 20 pm the poll showed something else than what it shows currently. To be precise: yesterday the poll showed 82 votes against Greater Afghanistan while only 25 where pro-Greater Afghanistan in a span of several days since it´s start. 6 laters I have taken a look on this thread again and I saw that the poll was high-jacked by someone. It didn´t show anymore 25 pro-Greater Afghanistan and 82 against it but 1082 pro-Greater Afghanistan.

My question now would be: How reliable or unreliable this forum turns to be?

If according to you Scenic beauty is all about tourism Than KPK may be Otherwise even for this we need Robust Tourists related infra.
