Loy afghanistan point no doubt about it.
    -------------
Pull out your swords and slay anyone that says Pashtun and Afghan are not one. Arabs know this and so do Romans: Afghans are Pashtuns and Pashtuns are Afghans!

Khushal Khan Khattak (1613–1689) was a prominent Afghan(pashtun) poet, warrior, charismatic personality and tribal chief of the Khattak tribe of the Afghans. He is the first Afghan mentor who presents his theories for the unity of the Afghan resistance against the foreign parts, and the creation of a nation-state.

You Afghans are crazy. Why do you want to surround yourself with Pashtuns 24/7?

I am Punjabi, and even I get sick of being around Punjabis 24/7.

The world is a diverse place. Start appreciating differences. That is what makes the world beautiful.

You Pashtun nationalists want to base your culture off pashtunwali. lol.

You will be fighting and killing eachother according to this. The problem is that you are all sheep. You are followers. Why don't one of you nationalists become brave enough to reform pashtunwali?

I know why. You guys are all pathetic internet nationalists. Internet warriors. lol

Ahmad Shah Durrani brought to kandahar thousand of indian slaves after his raids in india thats why so many kandaharis have indian features. Many pashtuns from pakistan specially in lahore and karachi have married punjabi and sindhis just look at ustad awal mir or hameed gul and so on.

You live in a candy world with no real contact with ground reality. Pashtuns are as mixed as any other ethnic group in the world.

You're getting more asinine with every post.

What does the geological age of the Earth have to do with Pashtun ethnogenesis?

And actually yes, Pashtuns are a mixture of different Indo-Iranian groups and Turkic Speaking Caucasians who over time DEVELOPED Pashto which MOST likely became a language LESS than 1000 years ago. There is no evdience indicating Pashto was a spoken or written language prior to 1000 a.d.

We have indication that Soghdian, Bactrian, Farsi, Khotani and so on existed prior to 1000 a.d. why none for Pashto?

Because Pashtuns didn't use Pashto as a medium for literature. Pashtuns lived a tribal society and those who did pay attention to literature used farsi. Even toady in the age of education Pashtuns haven't given a damn about Pashto. So expecting some evidence in terms of literature is pseudo-science at best.

Also it is next to impossible for a new language to be created by various different ethnicities. They would most likely adapt to an already existent language. Thereby one can conclude that Pashto language and culture have existed for thousands of years.

There isn't any fact regarding Pashtuns ancestors, only theories. So it is wrong to conclude that Pashtuns comes from different Indo-iranian and Turkish ethnicities. For all we know they could have come from Pasthuns.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

The problem with your line of argument is that it lacks PREDICTIVE power. If what you were saying is true then we'd at least find SOME SORT of evidence that Pashto was spoken for thousands of years. Even if Pashto is a tribal language Pashtuns would have had to been interactive with the surrounding cultures and thereby other cultures who were LITERARY (meaning could write) would have chronicled the Pashtuns. Yet we only find chronicles of OTHER regional languages EXCEPT Pashto. All the regions currently inhabited by Pashtuns were inhabited by Non-Pashtuns at one time, whether Gandharans, Bactrians, Soghdians, Kushans, Khotanese, Khwarzemis and so on. YET WE FIND NO reference until about the 10th-11th century.

It would be absurd that the Historians would ignore such a prominent nation of people and then SUDDENLY at around the 10th century decided to make references to them.

Also I didn't say Pashto is a blended language. I said that Pashtuns are a mixture of people who DEVELOPED Pashto. Not that they took bits of this language and that language and made Pashto. .Although I wouldn't reject that hypothesis either.

However, your hypothesis is falsified because blended languages exist.very widely. For example English, is a hybrid of Romance and Teutonic Languages. Creole is a mixture of languages. Swahili is a mixture of languages. Egyptian Arabic is a mixture of languages. North African Arabic is also a mixture. I can think of numerous examples.

One's conclusions should be based on evidence; One cannot conclude that Pashtuns existed for thousands of years with the evidence we have.

The idea that Pashtuns existed 5000 years ago is just a desperate fantasy of people who have an inferiority complex.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
