The only thing I find interesting about Persian/Tajik histyory is how Modern Persians or Persianphiles romanticize something that never existed. I'm not a Pashtun Nationalist by any means in fact I'm 100% against Pashtunwali, but Persian reivalists are worse in self delusions than Pashtuns are.
I said many times that nationalism is a sh*t. By nationalism I mean all of them. But persian culture has been most important one in all middle east and central asia since achamenids. And thats not a dream. Its a fact.

Samanids were vassals of Abbasid. Never denied that. But they were de facto independent. Many other eastern empires were also vassals of abbasids such as ghorids, khwarezmids, seljuks,.. and so on. But all of them were de facto independent. Togrul king of seljuqs forced abbasid caliph to give his daughter hand. Real vassals LOL

Please, you claim to be a reasonable person. I believe you. Please stop playing this troll card.

My point was there's a difference between "defacto" independent and "loyal servants to the Caliph" and going around promoting the Doctrines endorsed by the Caliph ON your people.

I say the same type of thing when Pashtuns say Ahmad Abdali revolted and rebelled against Nadir Shah despite the fact he was one of his most LOYAL Ghulam and the revolt against him was staged by his own Qizilbash men.

Sharia exists only in books, internet forums, few isolated areas of Afghanistan and Syria or Nigeria but never never in practice. Yes the beliefs, worship modes and ethics of Islam have a strong presence.

What we see in reality everywhere is man made laws because man understands man not a system with celestial colors and which too claims its origin 1400 years back. All nonsense indeed.

How you will stick yourself to stoning as a means of punishment when you have many modern developed ways and means for implementation of justice.

whether sharia exist or not, for sure some punishments are cruel. cutting hands off or stoning. all these kinda punishments have taken places repeatedly, it didn't stop people from committing these crimes. there must be other means to stop these crimes.
these kinda of punishments exist not only in muslim countries but also a part of a culture of certain countries people.
there are countries (christians) where there are no rapes reported. because of severe punishments. if one thing works in one culture not necessarily can work for another.
there are some sharia laws work for arabs but not for pashtuns.
