Afghan law on restricting women's rights

Beating your wife is like slavery, Qoran doesn't abolish or forbids it, but we all know that slavery is wrong and around the world laws are made against slavery, the same must happen to domestic violence and hiting of women, even tough our culture and religion doesn't have strict laws against it, we as a people need to realise that hitting a human being is just wrong and bad, becuase lets face, in this time and age hitting an animal is seen wrong how the hell is hitting an another human being is justified.
And to all the people who comes up with stupid excuses like the women don't have a choise or its better for them, think about the African slaves, was it also better for them to stay in there masters house? Becuase they were also fed and got clouths there, without there rich white master they couldn't provide for themselfs. So I guess it was also a bad idea to abolish slavery and let all those people take care of themselfs.

Thank you! Maybe we should stop those abusive men and the sons of abusive fathers not get married and have to fend and care for themselves. They abused slaves and it was wrong, to have slaves was wrong period, they got rid of it. in the villages, women do all the work while men sit on their asses and drink chai and talk. That happens in most villages. I'm not talking about the educated people in the cities like Kabul, Mazar, Kandahar, Herat. I'm talking about the villages. But the abuse does happen in the cities too.

Small domestic tasks are good for females, it keeps them active and slim. Watching TV on sofa all the time make you fat and unfit.

And women are mostly tormented by her mother -in-law and sister-in-laws in pashtun society. In your part of world beating women might be sign of masculity, in my part of world it is considered a sign of beghairati and weakness. Pashtun households are different from others in the sense that they are usually big combined families, where domestic violence on wife or sisters infront of others do not happen in normal circumstances.

Ok, observation is the biggest reason for domestic abuse, all over the world. But it seems to be over the smallest things ni afghanistan. that i have seen and heard of. Just because a woman went outside, she didn't cook something right and many more insignificant things.

No i am not a feminist. I just have had and heard of many people having these experience. I'm not saying everybody is like this, but there are people like this out in the world. And it is a bigger problem in afghanistan because th government is doing nothing to stop men from being unequal to their wives. In fact, the government is promoting the unequality between men and women.

Yes, and the government has to do something to change that. But as long as they continue using islam to explain all their illogical needs, why should they do anything to make the lives of other people better?

The country, the government, and the people have to put more pressure on education so the kids of today's generation can make a better future for themselves and the rest of the afghans.
