If the entire Afghanistan becomes Pashtun, and the language is Pashtun, then what is the next step of the nationalists?

I respect both Pashtun and Tajik people. Obviously I have more affinity towards Pashtun people because they are my people, but I have never dealt with a Tajik before. Many Tajiks insult Punjabis online, but I don't understand why? We have Tajiks in Pakistan in our northern areas and they are very polite. Why do Afghan Tajiks hate us Punjabis when we have never really had interaction?

Some Tajik members on this site try to highlight how they are Iranic people and use skin color as evidence of differentiating themselves from Punjabi. I would like to ask those Tajiks, that what makes you think we are dying to be farsiwans? You Tajiks are the second class Iranians that you worship, so why you think that we want to be close to you?

We have our own language, customs, jokes. Why do you think we are interested in you?


We are all Muslim after all, so why try to play the politics?

Those literate tajiks would run away from afghanistan once civil war is started, the developments which they have achieved in their areas in past decade, could be ruined.

The Farsiwans have built in the last decades many networks with strong lines from the urban areas to the rural areas. If civil war happens again it won´t hurt those networks that are found in urban areas well controlled and well secured by them. Civil war will this time hit the rural regions, mostly those regions where people are weak. Take Kunduz as an example. But why should we have a civil war? Who will be the losers or winners? Do you think Tajiks, Uzbeks, Pakistanis? Arabs? Nato? ...in the case of civil war everyside will pay with blood and will be a loser. No winner.

I have been observing posts by many of the members in this forum and unfortunately we Pashtuns are still suffering from delusions and we have a difficult time accepting realities. I live inside Afghanistan, working with a NGO and what I can tell you is that the Pashtuns are losing everything because of our immature actions on the political arena. On the one side, The so-called Mujahideen in the south are tearing the whole social fabric of the Pashtuns with their terrorist acts and in Kabul we are being pushed out of the scene by tajiks. In the past 10 years the Tajiks and other ethnicities have successfully achieved so much that it is very hard for us to catch in a decade with them now. Most of them are literate today, most of the universities are owned by them, they have an educated elite and an intellectual class, their languages are flourishing, they are dominating the economy while we are busy killing ourselves for nothing. There is 60 private TV stations and only 4-5 of them are in Pashto. We are the majority but we will be turned into a minority if we do not stop this. Just a month ago, the Tajiks removed the word Afghan from the new ID cards and thousands of Tajiks marched on to the streets and shouted anti-pashtun slogans and openly revealed their hatred towards Afghan and Afghanistan. What did we do? we accepted their demands because of our weakness and vulnerability caused by us. If this continues, trust me, we will not have a Loy Afghanistan in the future but this piece of Afghanistan will be turned into a Khorasan soon. So wake up and smell the coffee and stop using your pseudo-pride and irrational nationalism to hide our crisis.

Some people are busy with other things like living in an imaginery world they have created for themselves to flee reality and feel good about it or insulting Panjabis, Pakistanis, Islam, communism, Farsiwans, Hazaras, caring about which race has the most beautiful girls, which race has the best warrior ... and other non-senses.... I feel ashamed and I am very worried like you about the future of Afghanistan.
