Laughable to say the least. No wonder your newspaper sucks.

I thought the Taliban banned opium production? how can they be the main producers of it they are against it?

true.. but if you go with pure maths... Taliban in lower lead to lower opium production.. Northern Alliance in power led to higher opium production.. do you see the correlation..

As far as the question.. who is making money out of it.. i think everyone and their grandmothers are making money out of it... but that is besides the point.

We also grow opium in our area.So many time the FC and police try to stop it but people do it.
Opium is good source for medicins.

he is from the south.. one gets an impression from your statements that south is not represnted in the centre..

Stop denying the fact that pashtuns have not much power in Afghanistan.. and i will tell you one more thing.. Punjabies are a thousand times better than tijiks.. Punjabies come from rich agriculture back ground, (I m not saying that there are no poor in oujab).. but having plnety of resources have influenced their culture aswell. therefore, they much more generous than farban.. Farsibans come from dry areas.. they are also stingy, cheap and untrust worthy... even though i might have issues with punjabies.. i would pick punjabi over farsiwans any day..

Incorrect review of the evidence and the confounders. This is a little treat from today's NY Times:

                          http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/24/ma...ewanted=7&_r=0

"Others would maintain, however, that much of the corruption in Afghanistan can be laid directly at Karzai’s feet. The heroin industry boomed afresh under men like Sher Muhammad Akhundzada, Karzai’s chosen governor of Helmand and the country’s most infamous trafficker."

except that wine is solely consumed as an intoxicant whereas morphine is solely medical.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

it wouldn't be made in afg you fool, even iran doesn't even process the oil/gas stuff the sell over seas because they don't have the infrastructure to do so. that happens later on.

that would imply that the taliban have taken over a huge amount of territory in the south compared to last year.
