Doesn't Toramana have a fair point in that a practical review of problems for any issue involves both external and internal factors?
Historically a few ethnic groups have had to suffer under the contradictory nature of a nation state that on the one hand claims to be a zionistic type homeland of Muslims but then at the same have had to endure ethnic domination in certain particulars by one particular group.
It is fair to say that maybe 1/10 of the population (probably even less) of that particular ethnic group hoards resources, etc but that powerful 1/10th with their policy of centralizing power in the Panjab and directing resources there and ensuring war does not touch any aspect of that province - has derailed any prospect of, to steal terms from the Americans " a more perfect union "? Otherwise, why would the Bengalis, Baloch, and Pashtun factions all chafe collectively under these circumstances?
And dont the external circumstances predispose the internal behavioral patterns to emerge in the inflicted chaos?
Meaning you posit that radicalism is the chicken that lays the egg of our circumstance... but Toramana is successfully arguing within the democratic nation state paradigm that you wholeheartedly endorse and showing that it has actually not benefited Pashtuns, Baloch, Bengalis etc when it comes to equality, fraternity, civility etc.
