Do you guys think that Taliban are just machines, robots, tools, stooges, instruments in the hands of ISI or other agencies? They do not have their own agenda, their own ideology, their own source of inspiration, their own principles and their own goals?

Agencies may use them but they are not just toys in their hands. Listen to this video where Meshud tries to prove that his struggle is a genuine jihad against the kaafirs of Pakistan.

May be this is the other way round that Taliban are using agencies and their funds for the goals of Taliban.

Afghan and Pakistani Taliban have the same motives, same ideology but their targets are different. For Pakistani Taliban Pakistani forces are as kaafir as US forces.

Taliban cannot use the agencies and their resources. They are not that sophisticated. Apart from that, you are absolutely right.

This is why all the time I am saying that Taliban have their own agenda and may be they are used by others but they have their own program. They should be taken in that context not just brushing them off that they are tools of ISI etc. They should be taken seriously.

They are the military wing of Salafism, wahabism, Deobandism, panjpeerism and Islamism.

These extremist ideologies and their active wing Taliban have changed totally the society and polity of more than 60 millions Pashtuns. Go to any Pashtun village and you will see that Mullah rocks. All Pashtun cultural traits are in dilapidated condition.
