After reading through this thread, everyone on here is against Abdullah Abdullah and Zalmay to win which i am against as well. I personally want Ashraf Ghani to win (mostly because he is pakhtun) and because he wasn't a puppet to NATO or America like Karzai. That hazara guy is also a good candiate by looking at his resume, he was born and raised in a pashtun area so he might garner up a few votes from pashtuns from ghazni. Also why isn't Mohammed Katawazi or miraki running?

I personally like the man. Basherdost is defiantly a great candidate no doubt, but lets be honest here, he isn't going to win because he is an hazara. Most Pashtuns don't want to see a non-Pashtun in office.

Technically, he won the last time since Karzai and Abdullah both are frauds and technically the tajiks and hazaras are the power holders right now, they just have a Pashtun(Karzai) face.

Really? He was a minister in the NATO installed puppet cabinet, then he got a job as the agent of NATO who will help the process of transferring the responsibility for security to local militias.

The guy is more of a puppet than Karzai ever was.

I think peopel just doubt if he is good. I was also pro Ghani, and not becuase he is Pashtun, but becuase he is smart and know a lot about economics, so I tought he can bring Afghanistan out of the poverty, but how he talks, his appereance and what he says sounds not appealing.....

Afghan Salafi Leader Announces Presidential Bid

Afghanistan's most prominent Salafi leader has resigned from parliament to contest the April 5 presidential election.

Abdul Rab Rasul Sayyaf announced his resignation and candidacy on October 2.

He said that Ismail Khan, Afghanistan's current energy minister and a former warlord from western Afghanistan, will run as his first vice president.

Sayyaf currently heads the Daawat-i-Islami group. He was one of the top anti-Soviet Islamist guerrilla leaders in the 1980s.

Sayyaf became a close ally of Saudi Arabia after converting to the kingdom's official religion, the Salafi sect of Sunni Islam.

He is accused by Afghan and Western human rights organizations of gross human rights violations during Afghanistan's civil war in the 1990s.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Abdullahs real father died and his mother was married to guy in Kabul who claimed to be Barakzai. Abdullah is 100% panjsheri.

He resigned from parliament so he was part of democracy , doing the shirk so this is not conversion just going deeper into democracy for a higher level post.
