I know not all Pashtuns in Pashunkhwa are like this. Thats why I make a distinction. There are Pashtuns and there are Pathans.

Badlun is an idiot, he is of the impression that he is a Sufi when he does not know what a Sufi is. This has been proven in many threads for his lack of knowledge.

Also, I have already proved that the "F" sound is in Pashto, you bunch of morons.

Since when did you become an authority on what defines a Pathan? seems like your personal opinion and definition of the word rather than facts, unless ovcourse you have some references.

its true though. Pashtuns shouldn't use urdu language because their comming generation will adopt the language (they already have) and that would result is their generation losing the language and culturally adopting the pakistani way of life.

i'm sure there are thousands of pashtuns living in places like karachi, lahore who speak urdu instead of pashto. these pashtuns are culturally destroyed.

they have adopted pakistani way of lifestyle and have forgotten their old pashtun afghan culture.

they speak urdu instead of pashto. they have abosrbed with pakis. their culture is ruined and their comming generation are ruined as well.

speak your own langauge, why would u want to speak someone else language? why would you want to be identified as a paki? why do they want to be someone else, why do they want to be paki/indian?

            strong idenity issues.

Why do you speak English? Why do you have a western fashioned hairstyle? Why do you wear western clothes? The list goes on, watch 5 more generations and I doubt your lineage will have anything Baluchi apart from the name at best. Obviously if those Pashtuns are going to live generation after generation in Karachi then they will be absorbed sooner or later you can't blame them when you are being absorbed yourself slowly without even realizing.

                • So much trouble only of your name. I see many ideas here. But at the end a question comes.
If linguists group Pasho and Farsi both in the Iranic languages and both Iranic and Indic languages and also the Nuristani languages in one branch of Indoeuropean languages, than what is the problem to realize that words may have same roots.
And what on the other hand disturnbs realizing that neighbours have influences one on the other?

Every culture had its positive and negative moments, its strong and weak sides. You all live in one region, that is still used in worst ways, and all dividing ideologies will never help to bring harmony to your homelands.

You are missing the point. English is an international communicating language. Everyone should know it. Comparing the ideas to west is not really the best comparison since if you live abroad, you will not easily culturally absorb their ideas because number one they aren't Muslims and second you will not associate yourself as one of them no matter how much you practice their tradition, you will always have strong sense of identity when living with them, unless you've been living there for decades, which is another case and will be taken the same way you just mentioned about Urdu culture.

Second, You will not find millions of pashtuns in one specific western country that you are living in, so you will always have a distinctive sense of identity about your culture and you will never associate yourself as one of them. Unless there are more than 10 million pashtuns living in places like Russia, then of course pashtuns will culturally absorb the Russian way of life. But this won't be true if only 2-3 pashtuns live in Russia. They will always disassociate themselves to the Russians.

                    Why do you speak English?
                    1) International Language
                    2) Everyone should speak it
                    3) The language of literature
                    4) The whole internet is basaed on English
                    5) English doesnt specifically has a culture
                    6) English is a communicating language and more than 1 country speaks it.

Why do you have a western fashioned hairstyle?
This is not even relevant. This is as dumb as saying you should have a "Pashtun hairstyle". There is no such thing as a Pashtun hairstyle or western hairstyle.

                    The list goes on,
                    Elaborate.

watch 5 more generations and I doubt your lineage will have anything Baluchi apart from the name at best.
No sir. I will make sure it doesn't happen. I am already aware of languages being lost. However it could be true that language or cultural lineage could be lost but I am not responsible for it, I will do whatever it takes to stop it and carry it as it has been carried on for hundreds of years.

Bottom line, Most Pashtuns have acquired the Pakistani way of life and have forgotten their old Afghan culture. Their children speak urdu and have absorbed with the Pakis. Culture should be saved and acknowledged not lost or absorbed with another culture. Pashtuns have become paki and if you look at Pashtuns in Karachi, most of their looks also have strong resemblance to Pakis. The true pashtuns only reside in places like Quetta, KPK and Afghanistan. Culturally absored and destroyed pashtuns live in places like Karachi and Lahore like Shehbaz khan.

                    • Salaam Baloch Saab. Practically every Baloch I have met in the UAE and Oman is a fully integrated 'Arab' who has dropped the چ from بلوچ Baloch and replaced it with ش so that he will title himself al-Baloshi. I have no problems with this kind of integration as it is inevitable. However I notice that it does create two tiers amongst the Baloch population. They don't always speak the same language. Arab Balochis live more comfortably than their original counterparts and do not do anything to promote the Balochi identity. I also know of Iranian Balochis who spoke better Urdu than many Pashtuns I know.

There is no "Che" in Arabic language, so Arabs living there can't pronounce "Che" and it would create confusion in communication. Beloch, Baloch, Baluch, Beluch, Belluc, Belluci, Balosh or Beluch, is pronounced millions of other ways. There is an Italian actor with the name of Monica Belluci, her dad is a baloch but her mom I have no idea. She is seen as a role model for Italians and is not even pure Italian. Other actors such as "James Belushi" google him is known to have Baloch roots but is an "integrated" Baloch. And tons more actors and people I can give list of. There are also Russian baloch and Turkmen Baloch. Baloch are widespread in all different countries.

Yes, it's true that Omani Baloch or Baloch living in UAE or other places might been been integrated, who knows. They might or might not. I don't know anything about them. But Any sort of integration I am against and will speak against, that is my point.

Language shouldn't be lost. Culture should remain the culture and lineage should be kept strong.

Sufism has nothing to do with indirect knowledge. It is an experience which can only be felt and people like you who are against Sufism cannot judge or feel who is Sufi and who is not. A Sufi can feel Sufism of other fellows not outsiders who just for nothing calling people idiots and morons.

I do not know of what threads you are talking where you proved what you claim.

Can you tell me just a single pure Pashto word with letter F please.

Do you know the Seraiki speaking Balochs in Dera Islmail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, the whole southern Punjab and the Sindhi speaking Balochs in Sindh. They are more Punjabis and Sindhis than Balochs. The Balochs in Afghanistan mostly speak Dari or Pashto. Most of these Balochs even do not have an idea that they are Balochs and are proud to be Sindhis or Punjabis.
