till 1857 there was mughal empire which had half of modern day afghanistan in it and till 1770s safavids were having other half and u r just talking bs ..durrani empire came in 1750s and contained modern day afghanistan and pakistan but after his death pakistan and the northern afghanistan were again made part of other empires .. so just dnt make things up ..i have read history not like u making things up like 4000 years old and then 400 years old. people as pashtuns are old but not afghanistan as a country .. mate do u even know what the term khorasan means ? iran is a modern term too so are other terms except egypt .iran was under dynasties and empires and they didnt keep the name iran instead kept it persia and other names like khawrzm empire etc..

Go educate yourself… the word Afghan comes from the Sanskrit root of ashv meaning ‘horse’, which becomes asp in Farsi. The genetic term for these horsemen was Ashvaka in Sanskrit and Aspagan in Persian. Their country was where the usual mode of transportation was the horse, perhaps more so than in ancient Persia…thus Aspaganistan in old Persian…become Afghanistan.
