Already refuted it, your argument is faulty and assumes ethnicity and race are interchangeable. Ethnicity CAN include race, BUT NOT ALWAYS and in the case of Turks here are Caucasian Turks, who became Turks by adopting Turkc culture and language i.e. being Turkified ...Ghilzais are the result of that. Much in the same way they were Pashtunized

Because upper balochistan like Quetta was part of Afghanistan and the Pashtuns are native there. Also balochistan in the Pashto language is known as "Godar". If we get Godar, we will have acsess to sea!

Ok - what are the differences between Balochis and Pashtuns in terms of culture?

Baluch and Pashtun are similar in many ways but also very different

Baluch are traditionally desert or coastal people whereas Pashtuns are mountain people as far as I have heard.

Baluch and Pashtuns sometimes look similar but Baluch are more varied and different types of Baluch look different for example some tribes or communties from certain areas look Arab, Persian, African, Pakistani, mixed.

Baluch and Pashtun both follow the tribal code (Nang o mayar in Baluchi and Pashtunwali in Pashto)

All Pashtuns wear the same clothes but Baluch have many different types of dress depending on region or occaision.

Pashtuns are more religious than Baluch on average.

Baluch have sailed accross the Gulf and Africa whereas Pashtuns have stayed in Afghan or Pakistan.

What about Balochistan of Iran and Balochs living in Afghanistan?

It is interesting that many Balochs descend either from Pashtuns or other ethnic groups and many of them speak Pashto, Sindhi, Punjabi and Persian as their mother tongue. I do not know who are original pure Balochs. In Balochistan we have Barohis and Makrani too who do not consider themselves Balochs.

The word Baloshistan as a province in Pakistan is misnomer as about 50% of it is Pashtun, 20-30% non Balochs like barohi and makrani etc.

The practical situation would be that Pashtuns in Balochistan and tribal reas join KP as an independent political unit.

Most Baluchis in Baluchistan are fluent in Pashto, and if they weren't to tell you that they are Baluch, you'd swear they are Pashtun.

"Baluchistan" is comprised of almost 50% ethnic native Pashtuns, there will never be an independent "Baluchistan" when half the population is Pashtun and will probably increase in decades to come. "Baluchistan" is a false concept, never existed, and never will exist. Afghan reunification will re-annex the entire "Baluchistan" aka Southern Pashtunistan opening the way to the sea once more. Pashtuns will not forfeit an inch of their native land to these people.

You should read some history Afghanistan did had acces to the sea some time ago, but if Baloch are so eager to make there own nation they can do it, I would be happy for them, but I don't see that happening in at least 50-100 years.
