Mohmoud Hotak was going crazy and paranoid probably because he killed his uncle Abdul Aziz hotak who was Mir Weis Hotaks brother for power, he was killing people around him left and right. Most of the Afghans wanted Ashraf to take over who had many successes against persian forces in battle. Ashraf killed Mohmoud because Mohmoud had killed Ashraf's father. Whats so trecherous about that. If anyone was treacherous it was mohmoud.Originally posted by RevolutionThroughReason View Postand he praised Ashraf, didn't Ashraf kill Shah Mahmoud Hotak? Ashraf was the treacherous Hotak who allowed the chance for a Persian uprising.

yeah is that why he joined him in Gulnabad to slaughter Persian civilians?
womp womp. I think he just did it because he wanted power, not to avenge his dad or whatever delusional Pashtunwali idiocy you think was behind it.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
that was NOT abdali you moron, that was his son who moved the capital of the administration.
and you calling Khushal Khatak a Moghul bitch is completely ludicrous. You understand very little about humanity. Khushal followed in his families footsteps as Moghul army officers, it was him that broke the chain and rebelled. What kind of a bitch would bring the Moghuls to its knees you piece of shyt. He was the pashtun version of William Shakespear as a poet. Ottoman, persian and South Asian philosephers praised him as a fellow philosepher and poet/scholar. The philosepher Allama Muhammad Iqbal said this about Khushal:

That Afghan shanas (Khushal Khan Khattak) said well,
He expressed what he saw save any hesitation.
He was the Hakeem (Philosopher) of Afghan nation.
He was the physician of Afghan cause.
He stated the secrets of nation boldly.
He was rendering and said the right very wisely.Last edited by khushal; 11-21-2012, 04:38 PM.

You need to learn how to have critical thinking Khushal, you don't know how to criticize your so-called heroes
From the Very SAME Wikipedia Page you're quoting from (yeah like you'd ever do any serious reading on this subject anyways, the llink you have is some page about Khushal Khan Khattak eschewing violence, nothing in it contains your citation)
This is Khushal Khan Khattak saying "I served your cause to the best of my honesty, I subdued and killed my own Pakhtoons to promote the Empire’s interests but my services and my loyalty did not make me a Mughal".
In modern terms "I was your bitch, but now I grew a pair and I don't want to be"
and all the nonsense you said about him being trained and nurtured is debunked from your same source too.
not exactly "nurtured and indoctrinated"; they were just bitches out to fill their pockets with Mughal cash, not mindless suicide bombers. He was not groomed like Abdali was.Originally posted by Your sourceKhushal Khan got his early education at home. Perhaps in those days the formal system of education did not exist. Therefore, the rich and prosperous people used to hire teachers to teach their children at home. His father was also economically prosperous because he was on a prominent position in Mughal army. Moreover the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan had given a lot of land to his father. Due to which he could easily afford the educational expenses of his son. Therefore, he also hired the services of some teachers to teach his son at home. We found two names of them through his poetry. One is Maulana Abdul Hakeem and the other is Awais Multani. In a poem, he praised Maulana Abdul Hakeem with the following words:
He was a pampered rich boy who got tired of being a tool.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
Its amazing at how much time we spend here debating past figures but neglect the brave Afghans who work hard to fight off the Taliban influence.
Its a fact that 99 percent of PF forum members would not spend a day under the Taliban even if you paid them to.
All this emotional love for Taliban is just Emotions, nothing else, its all mumbo jumbo emotional rants.
These people would kill you for a western passport given the chance

The Durrand line needs to be accepted....reason being....do you want people like Mullah Fazaullah creeping over the border to hide from people who dislike him?
Also, if Taliban loved Pashtuns so much then how come they mainly kill Pashtuns.
How come Taliban commanders are guarded by Arabs and Chechens
KHOOBINA MA KASAY HAHA

The past figures arise because people attempt using the Falsified and misrepresented Image of Past figures to justify and console what's happening now they want to justify the Taliban's servitude to the ISI using suchOriginally posted by Soldat_Amir View PostIts amazing at how much time we spend here debating past figures but neglect the brave Afghans who work hard to fight off the Taliban influence.

It is by deconstructing the Pashtun narrative that we can deconstruct this fraudulence as well.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
The Qizilbash are traditionally considered to be the descendants of Persian Shia mercenaries and administrators left behind by the Safavid Emperor Nadir Shah Afshar (1736-47) to govern the Afghan provinces. Under Ahmad Shah Durrani, who served in Nadir Shah's bodyguard, and his successors, the Qizilbash acquired power and influence at court out of proportion to their numbers
yeah very Pashtun-centric ...LOLZ
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
First its not me saying it, it is western and eastern scholars who have intensly studied the man are saying it.Originally posted by RevolutionThroughReason View Postyeah and look what else he says ...let's not cherry pick, all this stuff he wrote afterwards was just an attempt to revamp his self-esteem

Second, If anyone is cherry picking its you. I already explained all this, reread my post you retard. His forefathers were Moghul army officers and he was following in their footsteps. It was him that broke the chain and rebelled you mentally ill jackass. This so called "pampered rich boy" brought the Moghul Empire to its knees. He was telling his people that the Moghul Empire is nothing without them and to unite and that he said that quoteabout killing his own and it did not make him a moghul is when Arangzeb gave him an ultimatum of "your either with us or against us."
So in essence He and his forefathers were nurtured by the Moghuls and it was him that destroyed them by laying the foundation for Abdali to take Delhi. Your mental illness is going to whole new level. Seriously get some help.Last edited by khushal; 11-22-2012, 02:44 PM.

He doesnt care about being intellectually honest. His only concern is to win the argument. He praises them and look down on them whenever it suits his argument. HE is mentally ill.Originally posted by BarakzaiAbdali View PostScimitar
Im very surprised you have this opinion our a man who, if Pashtun, was looked up in a book, he would be the picture definition:
Loyal, Brave, Warrior, Poet-Scholar, respectful to his elders, etc.
