    No,

I simply have a favorable opinion of nations and people that are independent, regardless of their political philosophy/faith, and also those that do not oppress their people.

Hence, it could vary from a people supporting Sharia to one supporting socialism- point is as long as it is against the hegemony of others, especially the West, I have a good opinion of their stance to preserve their independence.

    Independence is key.

well Asharis and Maturidis follow almost exactly the same Aqeedah.
      Thats not true.

There are some minor differences and I agree with some points with the Asharis
      Name a few.

      and some with the Maturidis.
      Name a few.

I am a mixture of both

What do you mean not true. I said they are "almost" exactly. How is my statement false. They do agree on most issues as do all madhabs.

          Name a few.
Asharis believe we need revelation to know wether things like drinking are sin but maturidis say human mind is capable of distinguishing between sinful and sinless through logic and reason. i agree with Asharis on this matter.

          Name a few.
Asharis says its possible for a momin to remain in hell for ever while Maturidis say its impossible. I agree with maturidis in this.

You are way out of your league here. If you dont know what you are talking about, it is saver to remain silent or simply say I dont know.

Asharis believe we need revelation to know wether things like drinking are sin
That is not Ash'ari belief. What you just stated is the belief of Ahlu Sunnah regarding ahkaam. Ash'ari aqeeda primarily focuses on names and atributes of Allah.

but maturidis say human mind is capable of distinguishing between sinful and sinless through logic and reason.
Thats Mu'tazili aqeedah. Not Maturudi. Aldough according to Sa'adudin Masoud Taftazani, Maturudiyyah and Mu'tazillah have allot of similarities, what you just said here is what RevolutionThroughReason believes. Its one of the main principles in Mu'tazili school of thought which by the way is defunct.

i agree with Asharis on this matter.
How can you agree? Are you a Mujtahid scholar?

Asharis says its possible for a momin to remain in hell for ever while Maturidis say its impossible. I agree with maturidis in this.
Be careful what you say. It can harm your faith to say stuff you dont know anyting about.

Maybe you should go and find a good institution where you can study the basics of Islam, the necessary knowledge. Because you are saying things that really endanger your faith.

I mean its illogical to think they wont do anything. If there nation will be bombarded to flames they will drag everyone else with them, and the respective interests.

Had Iran not had the offensive/defensive capabilities that they have, then a war with Iran would have happened a long time ago. In fact, this is the reason North Korea explains why it pursues weapon technology religiously (famously said look what happened to Iraq).
They wont do anything because they cant. Iran is getting weaker and weaker by the day. The only reason America hasnt invaded is because it is too expensive to invade. Iran is all talk, it cant challenege the US.

North Korea is protected by china because china views it as leverage against other imperial powers in the neighborhood.

Iran would be finished within days, and all their missiles Im sure could be deactivated by electronic sophisticated jamming equipment or deactivated by some button.

It will not use any of its firepower, and will simply absorb any NATO attack for the sake of peace and humanity.

the mullahs would rather stay in power than risk being driven out if they challenge the US. The missiles are just show, they wont use it unless they are boxed in and have no choice.

We still exist, we just took on new forms, some of us are Ikhwans, some of us even are more Moderate Salafists, like Yusuf Qaradawi, some of us are Reformists like Tariq Ramadan. Yes we don't openly say "hey we're Mu'tazilah" but neither did the Original wave of Mu'tazilah; in fact thanks to you Salafists you make our job easy, regular citizens see your brutality and cruelty done to them and they run to us.

Anytime you see Muslims who promote science, progress, advancement, they're influenced by us. Of course they're not entirely; but it shows how our influence starts as something small and slowly consumes everything. We're a powerful force.

Infiltrating Islamic movements to spread your deviant ideology? According to Quran, thats nifaaq. So are you saying you neo-mutazilis are munafiqeen?

Yousef Qardawi a Salafi? Wait untill he hears this. If anything he ranted and raved against the Salafis for the past decades. But you are too ignorant to know that. All you see is what you read in Western Magazines. Yousef al Qardawi considers himself an Ash'ari. Read his books.

FYI I am not a Salafist.

Despite its preening with missiles etc. the mullah regime is extremely vulnerable. Almost the entire intelligentsia, large chunk of the upper class and majority of the middle class ardently oppose the ways of the mullahs and its policies.

The regime is indeed weakened by the day as you say, and economic sanctions are biting in. The Iranian currency has lost its value by over 100% and the inflation is hovering at around 40-45%. The foreign reserves are dwindling and the Iranian economy and the entire non-oil section is under great stress and the economy over all is losing its competitiveness exceedingly.

At the political scene there are paradoxes which further weakens the regime and cracks the dividing lines. On the one hand while the there is increasing inflation, the economic downturn and the rest, the regime recoursing to policies such as the cash distribution scheme which is expensive and not sustainable just do the regime can keep its populace base among the rural population. What really further alienates the categories mentioned above is that the Iranian appratus both the mullahs and the military (national guards and al-quds brigade) are operating as an economic mafia now and is bend on having every big and small contract for its associated companies.

U.S. hedge its hopes on a regime change and for that to happen its needs stringently persistent sanctions for which the regime has so far not worked out any plan to deal with and also to encourage opposition in the next election. That is if its not put down brutally - a uniform reformist opposition could well oust the present regime.

My two cent on the issue.

Iran says can destroy U.S. bases "minutes after attack"

                              By Marcus George
                              DUBAI | Wed Jul 4, 2012 8:24am EDT

(Reuters) - Iran has threatened to destroy U.S. military bases across the Middle East and target Israel within minutes of being attacked, Iranian media reported on Wednesday, as Revolutionary Guards extended test-firing of ballistic missiles into a third day.
Israel has hinted it may attack Iran if diplomacy fails to secure a halt to its disputed nuclear energy program. The United States also has mooted military action as a last-resort option but has frequently nudged the Israelis to give time for intensified economic sanctions to work against Iran.
"These bases are all in range of our missiles, and the occupied lands (Israel) are also good targets for us," Amir Ali Haji Zadeh, commander of the Revolutionary Guards aerospace division, was quoted by Fars news agency as saying.
Haji Zadeh said 35 U.S. bases were within reach of Iran's ballistic missiles, the most advanced of which commanders have said could hit targets 2,000 km (1,300 miles) away.
"We have thought of measures to set up bases and deploy missiles to destroy all these bases in the early minutes after an attack," he added.
It was not clear where Haji Zadeh got his figures on U.S. bases in the region. U.S. military facilities in the Middle East are located in Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Turkey, and it has around 10 bases further afield in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
                              SCEPTICISM
Defence analysts are often sceptical about what they describe as exaggerated military assertions by Iran and say the country's military capability would be no match for sophisticated U.S. defence systems.
Iranian media reported that this week's three-day "Great Prophet 7" tests involved dozens of missiles and domestically-built drones that successfully destroyed simulated air bases.
Iran has upped its fiery anti-West rhetoric in response to the launch on Sunday of a total European Union embargo on buying Iranian crude oil - the latest calibrated increase in sanctions aimed at pushing Tehran into curbing nuclear activity.
Revolutionary Guards commanders have also threatened to block the Strait of Hormuz, through which more than a third of the world's seaborne oil trade passes out of the Gulf, in response to the increasingly harsh sanctions.
Major powers have said they would tolerate no obstruction of commercial traffic through the Strait, and the United States maintains a formidable naval presence in the Gulf region.
Iran accused the West of disrupting global energy supplies and creating regional instability and says its forces can dominate the vital waterway to provide security.
"The policy of the Islamic Republic is based on maintaining security in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz for all ships and oil tankers," Iranian English-language state Press TV quoted the chairman of parliament's national security and foreign policy committee, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, as saying.
The United States and its allies accuse Iran of using its nuclear program to covertly develop all the components required to produce nuclear weapons, accusations the Iranian officials have repeatedly denied.
The world's No. 5 oil exporter maintains that it is enriching uranium for nuclear fuel only to generate more energy for a rapidly growing population.
