But a bombardment of Qom will definately bring joy to Muslims, especially millions of Afghans who have been persecuted for the past 30 years in Shirkistan.

The way you have to look at this is why is the whole West/Arab monarchs/Israel wanting to start a war with Iran?

What is the answer to that?

Yes, Iran did help in the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, no one can deny that. But they did that for their self interest. In Iraq you had Saddam Hussain who was a cruel dictator especially to the shia and kurds. Saddam fought against Iran in the 80s with western and Arab backup so it shoudn't surprise anyone that Iran supported the removal of Saddam Hussain the tyrant.

Iran supports Hezbollah which defeated Isreal in the Lebanon war a few years ago. Isn't that anti Isreal? They also support Hamas.

The real cancer of middle east is the saudi royal family and other gulf arab states which have american bases. Iran has no American bases. At least Iranian are not cowards and have control over their natural resources unlike Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia and other arab countries.

I hope Iran succeeds in defending itself against US, the saudi royal dogs and the terrorist AQ.

You are putting words into my mouth. I never said Iranian regime are saints. Ofcourse they are just as bad in many aspects as the Al Sauds and other tyrants around the middle east who only care about their own interests. Iranian regime is no doubt responsible for a lot of misery against Afghans and sunnis in Iran. NO one is disputing that.

But this war will be more than just pity sunni vs shia rivalries. Is Iran better off being a colony of the West like the Arab states which has American bases all over?

Why are you laughing about the Isreali defeat? Ofcourse Hezbollah defeated Isreal in southern Lebanon. Its an acknowledged fact.

You are assuming too much. Take a chill pill

For your information, I am a sunni, following Hanafi madhab in Fiqh and Ashari/Maturidi in Aqeeda like most Pashtuns. So your shia/sufi card doesn't work.

This is the problem. Not to say that I do not sympathize with the Syrian people and I do hope they get their freedom from Assad but....

when did Arabs/Pakistani/Iranians ever give a crap to Afghans? On the contrary, in some manner, they have all supported the NATO war.

One has to start thinking for yourself otherwise one will only suffer.

As Pashtuns, we need to become like the Jews became after the Holocaust otherwise we are doomed. You can keep going on about your Ummah talk, but no one in the Ummah seems to give a damn about us.

Concern for others can come later. Nations survive by thinking geopolitically.

A development of ties with China and Iran are important for Afghanistan when it is free and independent.

Learn to be selfish before you can start being concerned for others.

I do believe the Hadith of the Black Banners is authentic, and that it applies specifically to Pashtuns.

                        Simple Explanation

It seems you have difficulty explaining your creed in your own words.

I didnt ask you what Ashari Aqeeda is. You said Ashari/Maturidi. I want to know what you mean by that.

Please explain. Are you saying that Ashari is the same as Maturidi? Are you an Ash'ari or a Maturidi?

Do you even know the difference?

Most dont, but an example of one that does would be Ecuador's government headed by Correa (the country that is deciding on whether to give Assange asylum). The there is Hugo Chavez.

Not all governments are like that.

                                Mean by what?

well Asharis and Maturidis follow almost exactly the same Aqeedah. There are some minor differences and I agree with some points with the Asharis and some with the Maturidis. I am a mixture of both.
