Drinking alcohol is infinitely better than drinking the blood of one's fellow Muslims.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

If we goes by your logic then,
          Adultery is better than rape
          or
          rape is better than killing
          or
          killing is better than necrophilia
          or
          necrophilia is better than pedophilia.......................

Malgariya, what have your Lmaanzi/Rojadaar/Big bearded/Tasbih aarhawaling/Al Gunnah wa al Sawaab guys contributed in anyway to the Pashtun cause?
Ghani Baba is an absolute king of a philosopher and a poet.
And why are you guys so scared of alcohol? As I remember, you guys had a soft corner for alcohol for a good 7,8 years in your glory-building days.

Your logic is fallacious. By alcohol you may just harm yourself, while the criminal actions you have mentioned harm other Humans.

Not necessarily, by alcohol you can most definitely harm others, it's the root cause to domestic violence and more..

(Just thought I'd point that out.)

Not very true, I am afraid. I have seen many (many as in many) non-alcoholic failed homes. The pros and cons of alcohol are quite beside the issue, though. People should not be judged upon whether they consume alcohol or not. The real value of a person is the positive value of his contributions to the cause, the people's cause, the Pashtun's cause, the cause of humanity. Nothing more, nothing less.

Obviously you'll get homes homes that have been destroyed without alcohol being involved, but there are a significant amount of cases to suggest a link.

My point was nothing to do with judging anyone, it was just a comment on alcohol affecting people other than the abuser, which it certainly has the potential to do so.

Alcohol also gets the truth out of man (that doesn't mean I approve of alcohol)

I have read a few translations of Ghani Khan's poems and i feel he is an incredible writer.Though the video does a bit of its explanation,I would like to know what exactly is Ghani Khan conveying here so could someone please translate.

She meant to say excessive drinking. Those who drink a lot of alcohol are known to beat up their wifes, divorce as compared to non drinkers. It's common sense wror jaana.
the divorce rate is the second highest in Saudi rarabia.
