      @randolph

      why ? there so many sympathizers and taliban "lovers" with their unconditionall love , they must atleast know one ^^ and help this poor man .

      i mean , îts obvious some one who is 2 levels over private a-s-s want to become a hero , by arresting some high level talib masharan , by collecting data via a forum full of armchair and cyber mujahedin .....

      @cop

      i can help you , just pm me . it will cost you some cash , but i can arrange a date in europe if you like , with theeeee highest leading talib ever , the man who is over mullah omar actually .

      but as i said it costs some cash ....

        CorporalJones,
        I no longer post at this forum but by specific request of someone, I return to respond to your thread. Observe the spectrum of answers which you are receiving here. Essentially, you are in the wrong community for seeking people with actual connections to Islami Emirate on any level. I will define "connection" here as direct involvement (self involved), family members or even distant relatives, close friends or even just acquanitances. I know with certainty of only one person who has ever registered at this forum with such connection and his English wasn't fluent enough to participate.
        My personal observation is that this forum primarily (not exclusively of course) but primarily hosts younger people (teenagers to 20-25) who live in the West. They are largely the children of immigrant parents - born in or majority raised in Europe, Australia or North America. Have you noticed the Pashto lessons section here? Have you noticed certain members here insulting other members here who support mujahideen of the Taliban by making such statements as, "it's not like any of you have ever even seen a real talib in your life"? You are searching in the wrong environment. But you should also know that even if you, at some point, tunnel yourself into the appropriate environment to connect with your intended target; making this connection which you are seeking will be almost impossible. Whether you are seeking mullahs, mujahideen commanders or simply rank and file fighters for interview - your attempt at making positive connections will not likely be possible due to lack of trust/general suspicion of your true intentions amongst many other things too complex for explain here. Regarding language, Russian skills will not serve you with Pashtuns. Da konechno, ya govoryu a ponimayu po russkiy no nemnogo xaxa. VERY few Pashtuns speak Russian. Arabic - this language will allow you to communicate with Pashtun ulema, Islamic scholarly elements. SOME Pashtuns do know conversational Arabic for various reasons but not many. I notice you in another thread ask how it is that Arab mujahideen communicate with Pashtuns - one Pashtun serves as translator for all of them in most situations. In general, these people that you are seeking contact with only speak Pashto and sometimes Dari or Urdu, occassionally English. More Pashtuns on Pakistan side of border speak good English than on Afghan side. I do however personally know of more than a few Pashtuns in Kandahar area that basically ONLY speak Pashto, not even very good with Dari. This is important, if you want to effectively communicate with Pashtuns you need to acquire reasonable Pashto language skills or use trusted translator.
        If it is infact true that you are writing a book and you do infact respect Pashtuns as you state and you have no less than honest motives and you are not Western government mole doing precisely what randolph85 implicated you on (weak attempt at intel gathering), if all of this is true then I would recommend waiting. Currently these people you want for interviews are largely ostracized and viewed in most contexts as "criminal class" by the ruling regime in Kabul regardless of its attempts to "integrate" Islami Emirate into the government establishment. They are obviously "criminals" in the eyes of the current occupational forces. Again, wait. Wait until all foreign invaders have left Afghanistan. Beyond this point, the social and political atmosphere will be much better for making positive contact with your intended target.
        Also, Corporal - I likely will not check this thread again to reply to any questions you may ask here. Just contemplate what I've said. And remember, beyond the internet in real life - genuine honesty will take you far with Pashtuns. If you are anything less or more than what you present youself to be, you may likely find yourself in trouble.

          Sounds like Rambo coming to Afghanistan to me... except that was to support the Taliban. You guys created the Taliban and used them to defeat the Soviets and turned Afghanistan and Pakistan into a den of fanatics. Because of you local people are dying daily.

          Then you blundered into the country again and are forcing these people to fight the very same people you created.

          Still you want to interfere? Why don't you Americans try to learn something from Ron Paul.

          If this is a spying attempt by your tyrannical country its pathetic, if you really sympathize with the mujahideen and the taliban in whose mouths your carter government shoved 4 Billion dollars in to oppress the Afghan and Pakistani people its still pathetic.

            jones,

            what were you expecting? Google directions.

            1) Walk 500km blindfolded through the Khyber Pass

            2) stop 20 feet from the apple tree. You will be able to smell the apples as if is the only apple tree on the mountain pass

            3) breakdance to Justin Bieber (that song where he says Baby)

            4) do ^ this blindfolded. That would be the que that you are journalist there to write a book

                err.. i think he's not really going to write a book on it.

                The people that are this bad at making stories up usually fall into the category of the far right (that's racists to the inbred illiterates on here, we cater for all, i can simplify further if required).
