    NO WONDER !
It's the New York Times -
that peddler of HUGE LIES !

    I wouldn't read a WORD they publish - it's all tainted
by being the obedient slave of the Zionists and many other
    nefarious forces.
In fact, the NYT is not even a humble slave : it is an
    active purveyor of PROPAGANDA.
    Nothing else !

Loooooool parsiwaan trash, the only hell for anyone is the fact that somehow horrible genetic material came together to make you and your kinsfolk. It chafes doesn't it? It makes you burn inside to know that your adopted identity (ie. Afghan) is a secondary one solely in existence and solely a term due to the Pashtuns that repeatedly smacked you around and made you pay them obeiscance. And now, laughably, you come here being forced to adopt a fake pashtun identity to spout your garbage. Northern Alliance??? Just because insignificant people join an "alliance" doesnt mean that you can overcome people who are braver, fitter, and superior to you in every way. You can have all the fancy guns you want, doesnt mean that you can use them effectively.

And tssk tssk my little Farsibaan pet, like a bad dog you need a mental kick now and then: Dont take the credit of the Americans ability to light up the ground and the sky. And yet even Rumsfeld referred to his adversaries as warriors. Dont you get it, you and Pakistan are mirror images... two sides of the same coin. The reason you resent Pakistan so much has nothing to do with true concern for Pashtuns or Afghanistan, but rather because it reminds you so much of your own sell out leaders.

Look at your sentence structure above, fool. You repeatedly prove your parsiwaan inferiority with each word that shoots out of that reverse blow hole that is merely an anus shooting gas. His father cannot be a harami because he is a pashtun, but yours can. You see the former is a mutually exclusive identity from harami, the latter truly overlaps like a perfect eclipse.

Another great example of Taliban and their version of Islam.
These things were not happening before 9/11. A variable was introduced to the region that caused this after 9/11. Lets see if a farsiban like yourself has the intellect to figure it out.

As long as pakistani forces and government suffers , let them burn let them burn....inshaAllah they shall meet hell.

Do you guys remember the successful raid on Rawalpindhi HQ,when they overtook a base of 500+ with only 5 men and took 50 to 70 as hostages.

i don't exactly know what u mean by that idiotic statement. if u mean to imply that there were no russians or iranian soldiers on the front lines, thats true. its because they sent their military advisors to the front lines, like the nyt article points out. why would they do any fighting when they could use the NA to do it for them?

Let's look at things from an Islamic perspective because Islam is the doctorine which Taliban claim to follow.
Let's assume for the sake of argument that Taliban control upto 90% of Afghanistan in the future and are in control and they see mosques being closed down in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan by Russian puppet governments. Do you think Taliban will simply ignore that? What is the reason Taliban gave sanctuary to the Uzbek fighters? Isn't it islamic duty of muslims to help their oppressed muslim brothers? Doesn't Saudi want to spread the Talib style ideology to central asia.
we don't have to assume, because these events already happened. what do u do as a government that is only recognized by 3 other nations in the world? u try to make all the friends you can. this includes central asian islamic groups, the same groups that were in cahootz with jamiat i islami no less. remember that it was rabbani and sayyaf that invited bin laden to afghanistan before the taliban. this is the reason. u are presenting this argument as if the taliban are saintly islamic figures who strive only for islamic goals. they are/were in fact fighters who did what they did to survive, this included mullah omar meeting with chinese officials face to face to in kandahar to pledge to them that no chinese muslims were using afghan soil against the chinese state.

as for saudi arabia, people overestimate their goals. the saudis are more happy to have business/political partners than to spread wahabism, the saudis even cut off talib support after being insulted by the taliban in the late 90s. lets be real here, these are the same people who are in bed with america, the people who were against secular leaders being toppled in the middle east. when it comes to saudi arabia, politics > faith.

If we look at the evolution of the Taliban movement. At the begining it was a grass roots movement which started when some local commander abused some young girl and Mullah Omar and his fellows punished the commander and gained popularity. Mullah Zaeef in his book himself mentions that Taliban had no concrete plans to rule the country but as they gained more power their ambitions grew. First kandahar, then Herat, then Kabul and so on. The taste of power is very sweet and once you have, its hard to let go. If Taliban control all of Afghanistan and Mullah Omar becomes Amir ul Momineen, what makes you think he will stop there? Wouldn't it be his islamic duty to help fellow muslims in neighbouring countries who are held hostage by puppet and corrupt regimes? The only thing stoping TAliban from doing that is their resouces. Otherwise they would have done it a long time ago. There are people among TAliban and their affiliated groups who believe they are the army of the "Black flags of Khorasan" who will liberate jeruslam. lol and you think they will only be content with Afghansitan?
isn't the only thing stopping any country from obtaining regional or world strength, being resources? afghanistan already has/had enough **** on its plate where u could devote your resources to it for 100 years and it still wouldnt be enough. if the taliban had **** in order at home and wanted to expand its ideals, than so what? thats what pakistan, iran, iraq, syria, uae, qatar, saudi arabia, turkey, i could go on and on...does. but to say that during its reign, it had objectives outside its own territory, would be false.

Gorrila warfare is different from conventional warfare. After the invasion the Taliban just blended in to the local population and some sought refuge in tribal areas of Pakistan. These tactics the TAliban use are hide and seek.
When the US/NATO leaves, the Taliban will have to come to the open to operate as a functioning government and force. This will make them setting ducks are target practice for drones and American firepower. When US/NATO troops leave, how will Taliban able to hurt them since Talibs don't have long range missiles and air power? The only reason Taliban have been able to withstand the onslought as you put it is because they are fighting asymetrical warefare. Once the occupiers leave, they will have to come in the open and they will be toast. Didn't you see how they dispersed after 2001 invasion and air bombardment? Sure Taliban can't be get rid off by just bombing them but one thing the Americans can do is to turn the locals against them by leaving the country, improving people's lives, and security. the people will have no reason to support the Taliban except the Taliban's promise of Sharia and ummah rhetoric.
hence, there are negotiations. the US doesn't care about afghanistan and it could burn for all it cares. what matters is ego. how good will it look for america when there is all out civil war after it leaves? the taliban knows it will never retake the country again like it did, and the US knows that they cant stay there forever and when they leave expect it to get any better without an agreement. do u really think that afghan tribesman support the US? most afghans take no sides and are waiting and seeing what happens. afghans will take what side offers them maximum security and comfort. its been 10 years with the world focused on afghanistan, and still the richest and most powerful nations on earth combined haven't made a signifigent improvement in these tribesmens lives. its like telling some afghan in zabul that democracy and occupation has helped his life while he laughs and says wtf are u talkin about nigga?!
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
