      When a child, at a very young age is indoctrinated with ideologies such as "Pakistan is the leader of the Muslim world" or "Pakistan was made for Muslims", it's obvious that if a Pakistani leader says something that would negate their teachings, they would dismiss it or better yet find a reason to dismiss it. They are even brainwashed during their Islamiyat class, where they paint Pakistan as the leader of the Muslim world. It's predicate logic for them. Simply true or false. No middleway, anything bad = false.

      I mean, can you imagine not standing up for the Pakistani anthem? or not reciting it? I'll be honest, in the USA you do not have to stand for the anthem. Uff, oh, could you imagine someone in Pakistan not standing in the assembly line, where they yell "Stand at ease!!!" Time for the anthem? A few shots to the butt is what we can expect, or possibly a snuff. I've seen it with my own eyes.

      In a more simple way:

      Let P be Pakistan.

      P: P!=Wrong.

      If( P==Wrong)--> Deny, Deny, Deny!!

      This is a South Asian problem*. Institutions don't teach these kids how to properly reason, or think, which is why they trail so far below Europe and USA in innovation, or forward-thinking.

      *Not all South Asians suffer from this problem, albeit a large majority do.
      Thats why a secular system is so much better for Pakistan. The Pakistani has been conditioned to bring religion into everything even simple things... not that the Afghan doesn't have the same problem.

      Also you are right about the Pakistani being taught Pakistan is the safe haven for Muslims and a 'pillar of Islam'... but in reality after 60 years no one still sees as a wee bit Islamic. So that means that despite 60 years the Pakistani's have failed to be an Islamic Republic.

      Its time for change in Pakistan. Secularism can save Pakistan from the fires of fanaticism and hatred.

      BTW abcd is right. He did not say that.

          just like the syrian governement is saying that free syrian army is proxy of wahabis.

          hamid gul is talking non sense.
          he says Afghan taliban are real taliban while pakistani taliban are raw agents.

          remeber col imam,he was also doing the same tactic.
          I dont know, but there in an interview here he gave to Journeyman Productions, he actually seems to poke fun of the fact that Pakistan lost the war in FATA and had 5000 casualties.

                    If pakistan stops using the "Islam Card." It will dismantle. They have no choice but to use it otherwise it has no purpose. The reason Pakistan has been successful in its strategic depth policy in Afghanistan is becasue it has used this card. Pashtuns are sympathetic towards Islam therefore PAkistan can not stop using the "Islam Card." The Afghans government of Dawood and Najib failed to use this card and failed. Karzai is following in their footsteps making the same mistake by siding with invaders that can not be labeled as "Islamic."

                    Pakistan is a ticking time bomb. It can not keep this facade going forever.

                          Very disappointed in your veneration for Gul.

                          As I told you by email and I'll repeat here.

                          "The guy was an idiot"

                          * * *

                          1. The Pakistani military are deeply anti-Bengali and viewed and still view Bengalis as a racially inferior nation.

                          They may have won simpletons like you off with a few smiles and nice words, but they do not like our race or our country.

                          2. Pakistan does not want good for Bangladesh but primarily for it to remain as a little "junior brother" i.e. inferior politicall, economically to Pakistan, hence recent Pakistani attempts to destroy the Bangladeshi economy.

                          3. You need to cut out the whole "ra, ra, ra let's destroy India/Hindustan" garbage you have learnt from Pakistanis.

                          The new generation of Bangladeshis like me and not Pakistan-connected characters like you want a peaceful and prosperous Bangladesh and not a Bangladesh v India war for the sake of pleasing your Pakistani masters.

                          Get with the programme!

                            There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
